Nestled on a quiet curve of Lake Bistineau, The Red Camp is ready to welcome you to lake views with Spanish moss draped cypress trees and amazing sunsets! Lake is now at full pool and ready for swimming, kayaking, and fishing through the end of July and a bit beyond! The annual drawdown starts usually in late July, so if you are reserving for fall or winter, please inquire as to the Lake level. Dr. Milton Richardson owned this home from 1963-1989 during which time he, along with his brother, Tom and father Sam, also doctors, started the Minden Medical Center, just a short walk down the street! Dr. Milton’s granddaughter, Liz, now owns the home and is your Superhost!

450 square foot Waterfront cabin on lake Claiborne 5 miles from downtown homer la. Fishing/ boat dock located on the property for guest use. There is a community boat launch adjacent to property. There is an additional cabin on the property that sleeps 6 that can be rented separately. This cottage started out as a snow cone stand built in Ruston Louisiana that was moved to Lake Claiborne in 2020 and was stripped down to the studs and turned into a 1 bedroom tiny home.
