A great swimming spot on hot days and a good way to access the town and the rail trail (five minutes there, maybe ten minutes return - uphill). There are plenty of lovely walks nearby including the Aqueduct Trail that starts further up the hill.

The house stays very warm in winter with a cozy wood fire and cool in the summer shaded by a large beech tree.
