Cottage sits right alongside of the West River of Pictou and has a heated swimming pool—weather permitting. Very quiet and private. Couples/Singles only. Free use of the onsite canoe or kayaks. There is a private firepit onsite which can be used when the government burn restrictions permit, and a private deck with a bbq. There is also an above ground heated pool shared with the owners. The Forge

The Forge is nestled on the north side of the tranquil Boughton River. The 105 acre farm is perfect for outdoor activities like snowshoeing but also great for viewing wildlife. Bald Eagles frequent the nearby forest, so a camera is recommended. The Forge gets its name from its roots as a working blacksmith shop established in 1826. It was remained active until 1980s.
