River Lodge

This beautiful granite gate lodge is over 200 years old and is tucked inside the entrance to The Manor Cottages. It overlooks the Brittas river which is full of wildlife all year round. The cottage has recently been renovated in a traditional style but with all the modern day comforts. The cottage has a romantic feel to it and is wonderfully private. The cottage has its own designated parking area and a large private garden. It’s close to both Dublin and the airport yet feels wonderfully remote.

Also you are only 10minutes to the city centre or 10 minutes to the bike trail which will take you all the way out along the coast to the seaside village of Howth. Chill out or go for beautiful cliff walks and discover Howth from this airy log cabin nestled among nature. The wild meadow behind the cabin leads to the Howth cliff path, perfect for hiking or strolling to Howth village or Howth Summit. There are several small swimming coves within walking distance. The cabin is at the back of my house but completely separate with its own entrance and lockbox. Lovely and peaceful!

Our location is great; you are walking distance to O'Connell St, Croke Park, Grafton St, Shopping, Pubs, Stores, markets, parks, etc. All bus/tram/train routes are nearby, no car is needed.

Our newly fitted studio is located on the north circular road in Dublin 7, right beside Phoenix park and Huston station. The coolest neighborhood in Dublin Stoneybatter is within 2 mins walk, where there are choices of bars and restaurants. City centre is within 30 mins by foot, and there are bus stops right out side of the studio. Luas stops is within 10 mins walk.
