A neighbor has teenagers and are sometimes known to play loud music and present as teenagers. Palatka is a rugged small town with areas of distress and ranks poorly in terms of economic opportunities. It has been identified as one of the poorest counties in the state of Florida. The town is small and less developed which appeals to those seeking a quieter life.

The Castle Cottage

Tucked away in the trees of Vilano Beach is a little known magical hideaway, the Castle Cottage. This cottage was hand-crafted by a master carpenter in the 80s and displays beautiful woodwork throughout. This perfect getaway location allows you to be free from the crowds but still within five miles of downtown St. Augustine. An ideal place to stay while visiting our lovely historic St. Augustine. It's in a quiet neighborhood close to beaches, historic district, restaurants and stores. The unit is above the two-car garage where you enter to go up stairs to the 500 square foot apartment. It has a living room, full kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. It's a few short blocks to Intracoastal Waterway (ICW) where you can enjoy breath-taking walks. Short drive to everything!
