This newly renovated two bedroomed farm cottage is warm, modern and uniquely set at the foot of the Garraun mountain complex on the shores of Lough Fee with onsite waterfall. Truly experience the beauty and tranquility of Connemara at this hillside cottage with fishing and mountaineering literally on your doorstep. Ideally situated on the N59 close to Kylemore Abbey, Connemara National Park, the villages of Letterfrack and Leenane and quiet sandy beaches of Glassilaun and Lettergesh.
Fall in love with Connemara and its wild landscape as you take a break at the Kylemore Hideaway. Nestled in the mountainside with stunning lake, mountain and river views on every side you will feel like you are somewhere special. Listen to the waterfall outside or the wind blow through the trees. Watch the newborn lambs play in spring and if you are lucky, you might catch a glimpse of the fish jump in the lake. View hand cut turf bog along the driveway and later sit in the warm comfort of the turf fire in the stove which heats the entire cottage and warms the water for a long soak in the bath after a day walking in the hill or lying on the beach. The cottage overlooks the fishing lodge once occupied by Oscar Wilde for his fishing getaways. If you are in need of a real break away, this is truly the place for you.
