I live on property and also have a full-time helper by the name of Jojo. Both of us are available if you need us, however we do cater to the more independent traveler who likes to read books and do their own thing. We won't ignore you, but we certainly won't be asking you a bunch of questions. If on the other hand, you have questions that our extensive compendium or the guest book can't answer, we are here to help.

Many of the incoming (& outgoing) flights are scheduled at horrible hours. Please do not expect that you will be able to hang out at the airport for a few hours before check in (1pm) or even sleep there if your flight arrives at 1am. Unless you have visited the island before and really know your way around please please let us book airport transfers. They don't cost that much and are worth the no-hassle arrival. We just need to know your Flight Number and the day you are arriving.
- ~ Smoking ok outside
- ~ minimum 4 nights booking
- ~ Adult only, sorry to the under 18
I've been living on Rarotonga since Octob, when I arrived here after living in Fiji for a year with my husband. Upon stepping onto land I fell in love with Rarotonga and have called this beautiful island my home ever since.
Originally from California, we went in search of a more peaceful, easily sustainable and less influenced by the materialistic world place to come home. The Cook Islands is still, after over 50 years, a place where one can truly relax and rest in the goodness of life.
When I am not looking after guests or visitors, you will find me out in the garden with Little Boy, the kittens and Zoe nurturing seedlings and my nursery of noni plants.
I'm often on property and always only a short trip away in case you need anything.
Wishing you a very warm welcome and relaxing time away.
Sunny regards, Gwen
