Secluded patio garden accessed from French doors in sitting room, plus front garden for sitting out in sunshine. Guests are welcome to use the sitting room where the wood burner will be lit on cold days. The front garden also has a good seating area and is generally sunnier than the back but more open to our neighbours.

I will be on hand throughout your stay as I live in one of the adjoining cottages. The cottage is run on a b&b basis with breakfast cooked and provided by me each morning according to guest requirements. Please note there is no access to my kitchen for guests to cook their own meals during their stay but there are a super variety of local places to eat within walking distance. The cottage is tidied daily and towels and bed linen will be changed as appropriate.

- Wet weather gear must be left in the porch as well as wet coats and boots
As a retired private chef you'd expect me to love food and I do but now - this is the best part - only cooking for family and friends that's why I've included a cooked breakfast for my guests - more in keeping with the traditional idea of a B&B. I consider myself to be amazingly lucky to live in a wonderful part of the UK, close to the sea and countryside; something I love to share with others. My work has given me the opportunity to travel extensively meeting a variety of people from all walks of life along the way. I love my home and family, I walk regularly, read avidly, enjoy company and eating out whenever possible. My favourite place outside the UK and Cornwall is Italy; I adore the food, wine, sunshine, architecture, history, people - basically almost everything. I also travel frequently to the USA as I have two beautiful grandchildren living there, and along with their Mum, they are my most missed people in all the all the world.
