Welcome to the Washington House AIR B&B! You will have your own room on the lower level with keyed doors to every bedroom. The town and train are about a half mile walk to our door. So, hop the train and get off at the Pleasantville stop, get a hot coffee at The Black Cow. Make a right turn out of the coffee shop and at that corner you will see Washington Ave. directly across from the Jacob Burns Center. Walk half a mile up to our B&B... Look for the hydrant out front and you are there!
The Back Bedroom has one twin bed and one full size bed with a desk. You have your own bathroom when renting the entire space but share the bath when only renting either the front or back room. **The front bedroom has a full size bed, that bedroom is available separately with another listing. It is listed as : " Escape for a Night! Front Room".** That bedroom shares the bath as well as the refrigerator and the coffee machine when both rooms are rented separately. Please be aware that there are two indoor cats present in the house. They do not enter the space unless the main entry door to the apartment is left open then they may pay you a visit. Please know that there are two cats in the house. One you will see the other probably not, she is shy and runs from strangers. They are both tuxedo black and white. Please do not let either out. The one you will see "Damien" is very friendly, if fact if you leave the door to the apartment open you are bound to have a visitor!
We do not allow any pets on the premises, we have two indoor cats so if you are allergic to cats this would not be a place for you to stay.
There will always be someone available to answer any requests or questions guests may have. When I am in the area I will be available by text, phone or email. When I am not I will have someone else available.
I am a empty nester who was born and raised in Pleasantville. I am one of seven children who were brought up in Pleasantville and we all loved the experience of living there. I am the father of two awesome young adults. I have been in the construction field since the 80s. While living here I have played all kinds of sports, have coached my kids and have always been involved with the community. My friends and neighbors would describe me as affable, approachable, friendly and fun. I love music, sports, traveling and making new friends. I work close to my home and easily accessible. I am happy to suggest destinations of interest or my favorite restaurants and leave you to enjoy this beautiful town!
