While visiting family in Jessheim, we had a pleasant stay in this large, well-remodeled two story house with exceptional kitchen and bathroom. Plenty of room and closet storage space, six beds in four bedrooms, and a modern washing machine and drying racks. Light sleepers might be bothered by the proximity to Highway 174, but the double-glazed windows helped to keep out the noise and cold. Electric heaters in all rooms worked well to keep the place warm in late October. Lots of parking space around the house for multiple cars. If you need to access email or data, the wifi is terrible. If you are next to the router with one device, it is almost tolerable. The streaming Netflix required frequent reloads.
This is a different model for Airbnb than we were used to. The site now says that no sheets, pillows, covers, or towels are provided, and communication with the host is by messaging (wording not there when we booked in Sept). The host did provide enough marginal bedding to meet our needs. My son, who lives in Jessheim, communicated with the host via text. No one was at the site when we arrived, and there were no instructions on how to work things. We were resourceful and figured everything out, but others may struggle. Aside from these unexpected conditions, we carried on and had a great time, and would stay here again if in the area.
