Perfect for business travelers, interns and students! This condo is located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of a two-family house near Watertown Square, about 7 miles outside of Boston. The guest bedroom is private and includes a full-size bed. While there is only one real bed, an Aerobed can be made available for a second guest.
I am almost always in my home office or master bedroom with my dog (a small corgi), so you are welcome to enjoy the living room, dining room, and kitchen at any time. The bathroom is shared with me when I'm home. Feel free to use the washer and dryer at any time; it is available at no cost.
Light breakfast can be provided for the morning (e.g., fruit, bagels, toast, and/or muffins). I also stock other breakfast staples like milk, cream cheese, butter, yogurt, coffee, tea and juices. I am happy to provide ingredients upon request if guests would like to cook their own breakfast instead (e.g., eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, waffles). Please make sure to let me know your preferences for breakfast.
Guests are welcome to purchase groceries and prepare their own meals in the kitchen. Keurig, K cups, tea bags, hot water kettle and sugar are provided in the guest room.
Light snacks, travel amenities, maps, and guides to Boston are provided in the guest room. You are welcome to borrow them and use what you like! The washer and dryer are located next to the guest bedroom and available at no cost.
There is no overnight street parking in Watertown between November and April. Off-street parking can be available with advance notice. Please make sure to let me know if you have a car so I can confirm availability of the off-street parking spot. In order to manage expectations and ensure that guests have read my listing in its entirety, I ask you to include the phrase, "May the Force be with you" when you book your stay.

I'm available by text almost any time. If you have any problems with the WiFi connection, please let me know so I can fix the problem for you!
During the day, I'm usually in my home office, but it's easy to step away for a moment to assist guests when needed. I enjoy socializing with guests if our schedules allow! The guestroom is in a secluded location on the top level of the condo and the location permits guests to have plenty of privacy in the unit.
Další věci, které stojí za zmínku
I can accommodate more than one guest, but I only have one real bed in the guestroom. I have an AeroBed that I can setup in the secluded living room area for a second guest if you prefer.
If you are taking public transportation, you will need to take a bus from the condo to connect to the Red Line of the MBTA subway system (The “T") in Cambridge. The bus stops right outside the condo (less than 1 minute walk). The T doesn't run to Watertown.
In rush hour or during special events, it may take over an hour to get to downtown Boston from Watertown (either by car or public transportation). With usual traffic, 30-45 minutes should be expected.
I have a small dog, but she's very friendly. She loves new people and she'll be very excited to meet you! She will only be in the home office or master bedroom during your stay, and she's not permitted in shared areas during guest visits. She almost never barks, unless she's startled by a knock on the door or a phone ringing, but you may potentially hear some barking during your stay, especially when you first enter.
There are tenants renting the first floor of the condo. There are separate entrances to both units, so it would be unlikely for you to cross paths with the first floor tenants. There is occasional noise or music that can be heard from the first floor during the day. There are occasional traffic noises or sirens from the street at night.
There is no overnight street parking in Watertown between November and April, but there is one off-street parking spot available if you have a car. Please make sure to let me know if you need a space to park the car.
-No cigarette smoking within the house or within 25 feet of the property.
-Pets are welcome under most circumstances, but only with prior approval before check-in. Please notify me ahead of time to discuss your pet care needs.
-Events may be permissible but require prior approval. Please discuss if you would like to invite an additional guest into the home.
-If you're traveling with a guest, please send me your guest's first name and relationship to you (spouse, partner, sibling, parent, friend, classmate, colleague, etc.) prior to your arrival.
-Please notify me prior to your arrival if you need the air mattress prepared for your second guest. If you need a second bed, it is available in the "shared" living room (although I will block of the area with curtains during your stay and minimize traffic around the area).
-Please let me know the purpose of your visit prior to your arrival so I can prepare your room adequately (i.e., business trip, vacation, internship, college visit, job interview, family visit, flight delay, etc.).
-Prior to your arrival, please send me your estimated check-in and check-out times. Early check-in and late check-out are flexible based on upcoming guest reservations, but please make sure to notify me if your plans change.
-You may arrive earlier than check-in time to drop off your luggage; however, I cannot guarantee that luggage storage will be inside the residence or within the guest room. Luggage drop-off is available in a secured area outside of street view (covered porch protected from rain/snow).
-Please keep hall lights switched on at night for your safety.
-Please text me or message through the app upon your arrival and anytime you need to reach me during your stay. I request that you please don't knock on the master bedroom door or call unless it's an emergency. This is only because the sound startles my dog and causes her to bark, which doesn't bother me at all, but will not be enjoyable for you to hear over and over!
-If something is not working properly or broken, please notify me as soon as possible so I can resolve the issue for you. Please do not wait until the end of your stay to mention it! I want to ensure that everything is great!
-No need to do dishes; please leave dirty dishes in the kitchen sink or load the dishwasher if you prefer.
-The washer and dryer are available 24/7 outside the guest bedroom. There are laundry detergent pods on the shelves of the laundry room that should be inserted directly into the washing machine drum. Dryer sheets are also available and should be inserted directly into the dryer.
