I live in the suburbs of Mumbai. More specifically at a 10 minutes drive from the international airport. The closest station is Andheri which is about 30 minutes from the southernmost part of Bombay (where most of the touristic locations are located) and the station is 10 minutes from our place.
I have a spare room in the house with a double bed, separate bathroom and wi-fi access in the house. You can use the kitchen whenever you want to except if you are using it in the night after 11 and before 7 I'd request you to be quiet. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, an oven among other things. Also, you can play badminton/tennis in the backyard in the mornings or evenings. I live on the ground floor, so although there is no elevator you wont have to drag your luggage up a flight of stairs.
Local Landmarks close to where I live
1.International Airport(10 minutes)
2.Andheri station (15 minutes)(will cost less than 1USD to reach there in a rickshaw/tuk tuk/ three wheeler- yes, India is cheap! :P)
3.Piramal Garden(2 minutes)
4.Greenland shopping street(2 minutes)(Not a definite shopping street, but you ll be able to find all sorts of essential and basic things and/or shops there, sim cards, clothes, medicines, phones and wires, usb cords, stationery, grocery, even photo studios and salons etc)
5.There are also some cheap fast food restaurants and some other normal restaurants located really close to our house
The neighborhood is generally quiet- or as quiet as an Indian neighborhood can be.
We are located close to the western express highway which connects a good part of the city. There are good no of shopping malls, restaurants(with Indian as well as International cuisine),movie theaters, beach close to our house (to reach any of these places it will take maximum half-an-hour).
I will surely guide you and help you with all the information/help you need.

Další věci, které stojí za zmínku
I would like if the guests use our house as their own. I would appreciate if my guests keep the room clean and not misuse or damage anything in the room.
I would appreciate if you could tell us about any discomfort immediately, so that we can address it.
Also, every extra person shall be charged separately.
I live with my family, so I just expect you to be quiet at night (between 11pm-7am) as my parents sleep early.
I live with my parents and two siblings - a elder sister and a younger brother. We do not cook or eat non-vegetarian food in our house and we expect the same from you too. We don't have any pets and no one in our house smokes( although you can go and smoke outside if needed)
I love to try new things, taking risks and am generally a happy person. I love listening to travel stories and sharing whatever few stories and experiences I have had while travelling on my own.
I love going on long holidays. I am also into meditation and would love to learn yoga.
l have read books by Ayn Rand, Gregory David Roberts, Paulo Coelho, Ramachandra Guha, Arundhati Roy, George Orwell and Jane Austen.
If you'd like I can talk and explain things about the Indian culture, religion and Hinduism in great detail. I can teach you some basic meditation too and some of Gautam Buddha's teachings.
I would love to know about your culture and lifestyle, your philosophy, thoughts, ideas, and listen to your travel stories and about your home country. I wouldn't mind sharing the same with you too.
I am a Francophile and if you speak French, I'd be really happy if you could practice with me or if you are learning French we could practice together. To beginners of French, I can teach you some basic lessons.
I try to be as flexible and accommodating as I can be. As for sharing things or any other stuff, you just have to ask, and I will be happy to help.
