Welcome to The Sherman Guest Home!
The Fuller Room is a peaceful corner room on the second floor with a full bed, a dresser, and a secretary desk overlooking the brook.
This room is named for Margaret Fuller, the famed author, teacher, and critic. Born in Cambridge, MA in 1810, she was close friends with Elizabeth Sherman, who attended Fuller's infamous Boston conversations series. Fuller's 1845 book, "Woman in the 19th Century" is credited as the first great American tract on feminism.
