Freda Wong stays less than 12 hours and his the only one who hurts our business by his negative review. We’re new in hosting Airbnb and we’re proud to have always 5 stars scale from our previous guests and we want to be consistent that way. Some comments excerpted from our guests reviews...Cameron who stayed May 13-27 at Room B commented, everything was as advertised or better, Mark who stayed May 4-18 at Room D commented, the home itself is very quiet and immaculately clean, Blake who stayed May 20-26 at Room C commented, exceptionally quiet and clean, Nerissa, who stayed May 1-5 at Room B commented, linens smell fresh and clean. Regarding internet, we increased the speed from 40 Mbps to 100 Mbps high speed internet a week before he came. Freda suggested that the kitchen could be cleaner but after reviewing the video surveillance he’s not been there. We always kept our spaces clean. On check-in feedback, we provided a simple and clear instructions on self check-in. This what happened...I went down to greet him inside the front door that night at about 10:32pm. I was surprised and told him that I’m not expecting another person to check-in. He introduced her as his wife and said that he did not book her. He was dishonest for booking only one and paid only one. Since it’s late at night, I let his wife to stay, but I told him to take care of it, pay for the extra guest that I listed thru Airbnb before they leave the house. The following morning, I reminded him to pay. He messaged me back to lower the price because $40 is too much but I refused to lower it. Before they left, he told my husband that he’s paying cash because he tried to pay thru Airbnb but was declined. He gave the $40 to my husband. He was polite and nice at that time. I thought all is well, my husband even provided them a weighing scale for their luggages when they asked for it and drove them to the airport. I believed the reason why he gave me a negative review was because I made him paid the listed amount for an extra guest which he did not book.
