Located in a high-end building in the East Village of Downtown San Diego, this newly designed apartment is just right for an urban retreat. With 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, walk-in closets, an open floor plan living space (includes an Xbox One!) and modern kitchen, our spacious apartment is so comfortable you'll immediately want to call it home. The multiple balconies perched high above the city offer gorgeous views of San Diego, and the building's great common areas include a lap pool, spa, 24-hour gym and bbq. As an added bonus, the apartment showcases amazing original pieces by local artists. Our home is minutes from Balboa Park and the world-famous San Diego Zoo, and equally close to Embarcadero Marina Park and Coronado for picturesque waterfront hangouts. Within walking distance to Petco Park, fantastic restaurants and shops, the best of San Diego is at your fingertips!

All AvantStay guests have access to our 24/7 guest experience line, a dedicated hospitality manager, and hotel-grade amenities.

We are not responsible for mail or packages that are shipped to the property. We do not have access to the mailboxes at many of our homes and cannot retrieve mail for our guests. If you choose to ship an item or mail to the property, AvantStay is unable to receive or sign for the items on your behalf. We are not liable for items shipped to the property that are lost, stolen, or otherwise not received.

As our guests, we kindly ask that you respect our neighbors and the community by adhering to our house rules, keeping all outside noise to a minimum, and following shelter-in-place guidelines. We will not tolerate any excessive noise or partying and have the right to vacate you from the property should this be an issue.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols while stockpiling reserves for all supplies in accordance with suggested practices from US and global health authorities. We're taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions and our team of professionals is working around the clock to ensure that we are over-prepared for any guest concerns that may arise. Our staff is also equipped with protective gear to maintain the safety of all parties. We are closely monitoring all guidelines and communications from the World Health Organization (WHO), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and regional & national health authorities to update our best practices as the situation evolves.


This home comes with a pack n' play travel crib available. A high chair can be provided upon request with at least 24hrs advanced notice. Just ask and we are happy to accommodate you and your little ones!

Situated in the East Village, San Diego's largest downtown neighborhood, our apartment is perfect for city strolling, steps away from delicious restaurants, art galleries, boutique shops and the awesome Petco Park. It is the ideal location to discover the Gaslamp Quarter, Coronado and Balboa Park. Enjoy San Diego's incredible weather for great outdoor activities!

Unfortunately, pets are strictly not permitted at this property.

We take the rules very seriously! Prior to booking, please refer to the House Rules included in our listing and contact us with any questions.

We care about being outstanding members of the communities we live in. Please note that per our house rules and local city ordinance, occupancy limits and quiet hours are strictly enforced. Guests must be mindful of their noise levels at all times and respect the rules of the community. In order to ensure a continued great experience for our guests and our neighbors, kindly note that any violation of these rules as well as complaints from neighbors and the city may result in a fine, forfeiture of security deposit and could lead to immediate eviction.

Anyone found to be violating noise ordinances will be subject to an immediate $500 fine, in addition to City-imposed fines which can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Smoking is absolutely prohibited on the entire premises, both within the house and on the property grounds. This includes smoking cigarettes, cigars, pipes or any other smoking device. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the full security deposit and damage liability of up to $2,500 for any discovered damage to furniture or odors.

You will receive 2 keys and 2 fobs per unit

We report and prosecute all Credit Card Fraud.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if there are any vendors that fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

The Keycafe is located at the 7-ELEVEN - 417 9TH AVE. San Diego, CA. You will receive an email with instructions on how to access your key. The Keycafe is open 24/7 and is a 3-minute drive or an 8-minute walk from the building. The key and fob are required to enter the building, unit and parking garage.

Once you pick up your key, you can head to the property to access the unit. A parking pass is required to park at the building. One parking pass will be in the unit prior to your arrival and you must place it in your vehicle before parking in the underground parking garage. If you do not display the parking pass, you will risk getting towed. We are not responsible for ticketed or towed vehicles, so please follow the parking instructions.

REMINDER*** You must return the parking pass back to the unit before you leave and take the keys back to the Key Cafe*** A $150.00 fine will be assessed if the pass is not returned back to the unit prior to checkout.
