As you can easily find out before booking, WiFi and air conditioning were not included in the services of the apartment whilst the 200€ deposit were there. Tarifa is windy and fresh in the nights, therefore we thought there is no need for air conditioning and Wi-Fi can be found anywhere for free around the town: we like to disconnect when we are on holiday, so we decided not to get a Wi-Fi at the moment.
For the deposit: Tarifa gets very busy in summer and many people have a lot of fun in the nights, let’s put in this way… so the deposit is to prevent damages in the apartment and it’s absolutely in line with other establishments and Airbnb policy.
For the bites: I have 3 years old and 4 months kinds, so I completely understand that mosquito bites on kids are very annoying and might be painful. On the other hand, in your comments you are referring to bed bugs. When we don’t rent out the apartment, I spend weekends there with my kids so this really surprises me, also considered that couch and beds are brand new.
Furthermore, cleaning is very important for us and the apartment is checked and immediately cleaned at the moment of the check out. This is the first time we got some comments like yours and we have been renting for a while now.
Furthermore, as we managed to sort out the electricity issue is less than 1 hour since you immediately informed us, we would have appreciated if you could have done the same for the bites, and so somebody could easily verify this on the spot and eventually offer an alternative accomodation in the centre for your family.
I need indeed to apologize for the toilet paper: I was not aware of this and I will make sure all basic products toilet products are there all the time.
I hope this will clarify our position because comfort and happyness of our guests are our main concern. Kind Regards, Vittorio
