We went to Lake Tahoe June 19 with a family of 11, ranging in age from 4 to 75.
The house is in great location with groceries within one mile. We were close to Nevada and Pope Beaches. Great day hiking, kayaking and exploring at Emerald Bay and Vikingsholm about 30 minutes drive away.
Nice private deck with propane grill, tables large enough for group, kitchen had plenty of dishes, glasses, utensils and pans. Even a wine cooler in kitchen island. Was easy to prepare and cook group meals. Easy to drive to lake but no view of lake from house.
The heated indoor pool was huge, clean, with a basketball net, plenty of floats and downstairs bar and frig that we used for lots of beverages. AMAZING! The hot tub was in private, outdoors beneath pine trees and also clean. The pool and hot tub were the highlight of the house.
The hostess Adriana was very prompt about communicating, very accommodating about check in which was very easy.
There were three nice bedrooms, the fourth was a small room with 4 bunks which were suitable for children, the 5th BR we used was downstairs off the pool and had 2 couches folded out flat for beds, OK for teens.
There were plenty of linens and 2 washers and driers.
The house was large especially living area but seemed a little run down. We had mice, it is a wooded setting. We contacted Owner and she offered to send someone right away but we set our own traps and caught 4. This made keeping food put away more difficult but there was plenty of cabinet space. A few screens on doors were missing or hard to open and close and it was unseasonably warm with no air conditioning so we were uncomfortable in late afternoon evening due to heat. There were several fans which helped. Main drawback was the heat but we could cool off in pool.
There was plenty of parking, we had a minivan and SUV.
Large TV in living area, wifi worked great! We couldn't get downstairs TV by pool to work but didn't need it with all the pool fun.
Garbage cans were in garage.
Overall, good setting for a family gathering. Thanks, Adriana!
