Please Note for two singles: Due to linen/cleaning expenses if you wish to use both double beds there will be an additional single fee of $25.
The last 300mtrs of road leading to the guesthouse is well maintained gravel.
The guesthouse runs on rainwater collected from the tin roof which is fine to drink, though at this stage there is no filtration system fitted so you may like to bring your own drinking water if that is an issue for you.
Please note that the shower is low pressure but adequate and there is plenty of hot water.
There is strong cellphone reception in the area - No Wi-fi/Internet connection available.
Also please note that the two bedrooms are connected via a doorway with only a curtain to separate.
As the guesthouse borders onto native bushland there is also an abundance of native wildlife and it is not uncommon to hear a possum taking a shortcut over the tin roof during the night, the odd fruit bat chattering up in the canopy and the local Kookaburras singing at dawn.
There are sometimes mosquitoes but we keep the guesthouse supplied with complementary coils and repellent in case they are about.
We ask our guests to be respectful of our humble hinterland escape.
The house runs on rain water and therefore we ask you to be water conscious and not use more than you require.
We ask you to be very mindful of fire safety when burning fires, candles or coils inside or outside. Never leave a fire, candle or coil unattended.
We accept well behaved pets but you must be willing to take full responsibility for your animal.
Smoking is permitted on the deck.
We are committed to providing you with clean and comfortable accommodation including fresh linen, complemetary teas, coffee, milk, fruits and flowers all ready for your arrival.
I will supply you with details for self check-in to the guesthouse which is easy and convenient. I'm also happy to field any further questions you may have regarding your stay or to share tips on local attractions etc.
I'm a keen surfer with a love for the coast and hinterland.
