Unwind at HoffenterHof in the center of province Limburg, close to the Belgium border. Uniquely decorated farmhouse. The very spacious living-loft on the first floor provides stunning views over the countryside. Lovely natural garden. Luxuriously equipped for (family)groups upto 12 people. You can go walking en bicycling in the rural area, visit Roermond (Design Outlet, 15 km), the white town of Thorn (8km), Maaseik (B, 12 km) and Maastricht (35 km).
Room for each other: that is the central theme at HoffenterHof. An extensive natural garden and a large farmhouse with a unique and very spacious living area in the loft on the first floor - providing a magnificent 270 degrees view over the countryside. So there is plenty of room to spend time together and enjoy each other's company. Moreover there also plenty of quiet corners -inside and outside- where you can retire to, to have some time and space for yourself. Truly room for each other.
The farmhouse is modernly decorated with luxurious bathrooms, spacious bedrooms and lots of modern art (real paintings, not Ikea ;-). The kitchen is very well equiped, with all amenities you could ask for, even a modern espresso machine that also makes Latte Macchiato's that you can drink at the terrace in the morning sun..
The farmhouse is well set up for adults (with nice stove, fireplace outside, large screen TV) as for children (separate playing area inside with table tennis and lots of toys and go-carts, trampoline etc to entertain themselves in the garden).
For business travellers (team building sessions, strategy meetings, etc.) we can provide flip-overs, TV as projection screen and lunch catering, if so desired.

I like to get a good feeling for who my guests are. So I like a little interaction before you arrive. I am very accessible for questions, by e-mail, phone or text message. I will always try to meet you personnally upon your arrival. Generally I'll be staying on the premises in the caretaker's apartment, but you will hardly come across me. If you are here with your group, there will be no other guests. You have your own private entrance and all facilities mentioned above are for your sole use.

I was born in the south of the Netherlands, in Limburg (province). After living abroad and travelling quite a lot I decided to choose Amsterdam as a residence. I have lived there for almost 20 years. The warm atmosphere of my neighbourhood and city really made me feel at home. There is always something to do, the international vibe gives it a cosmopolitan feeling and yet getting around is as easy as in a small town, walking or by bike :-)
Quite recently I stumbled upon a beautiful farmhouse just next to the place I was born, and I decided to leave Amsterdam and move back south to give other people the opportunity to enjoy the spacious house and surroundings. So I converted this farmhouse into a holiday home for families and groups of friends.
I like being a host and making sure that people have a good time when using my facilities. And I hope to be able to provide there the same homey feeling as I did in my apartment in Amsterdam and to introduce more people to this beautiful not so well-known area, they also call " the garden of Limburg", with lots of local specialties.
