Nested above the small town of San Sebastiano Curone (AL) you will find, surrounded by light and greenery, Cascina Mastricco.
The Cascina has been recently restored, keeping the original walls and maintaining the atmosphere of a country lifestyle. The stable has been converted in a wide and warm kitchen, where you will be welcome to share breakfast with us, while the old barn is now our living and study room.
The Guest Rooms are located in a wing of the house, with its own independent entrance just under a cascade of roses. On the first floor you will find Room Beatrice and Room Federica, which share a full bathroom at level. On the upper floor, Room Giorgio has his own full bathroom and a magnificent terrace overlooking the cultivated field at the back of the house. Cascina Mastricco is the ideal place for a small group of friends or a family who wants to share with us the peace and the silence of this place, away from the bustle of the city. Milan, Genoa and Turin are all within easy reach, as you can drive there in 1:00 - 1:30 hours (see maps).
San Sebastiano Curone is located on the ancient Salt Road, one of the traditional trade routes crossing the Appennines to connect the upper Po Valley with the Ligurian Sea. While it lays outside the most beaten touristic destinations, it has much to offer to visitors in all seasons, surprising and fascinating newcomers with its scenic and unspoiled surroundings:

Born in Genoa, I now live in Milan, and I've been living abroad extensively. A mother of three grown-up kids, I've always loved the countryside, and having now more time and a background in the tourism industry, I want to share my love and expertise with guests with the same interests.
