A Victorian house with three listed rooms, situated in a quiet lane with lovely rural views, a few minutes’ walk from the quayside – on booking check the directions and be prepared for narrow Cornish roads! Calstock has two pubs, a cafe and good transport links - guests are encouraged to meet the locals and support the economy by eating out - sorry no kitchen access. Calstock is a lovely place to chill, enjoy the valley and a slower pace of life, also well placed for exploring the area
The room is light with a lovely view of the river valley. The room has washing facilities, a cupboard for clothing and hot drinks tray. There is nearby bathroom and separate toilet for the use of all our guests. We have another single and a double room listed separately.

We love our area and would be very happy to help guests in planning their stay - you may want to hear about the many local events or be introduced to the wider area. On the other hand, having travelled widely ourselves, we understand you may want to just do your own thing!
Další věci, které stojí za zmínku
Calstock is an active community with everything from the August Bike Show to the Jazz and Blues Festival in October! We will endeavour to let you know about any particular events coming up. A self-service breakfast, of good quality local and homemade fare, is included in your booking fee. The 'full works' Cornish cooked breakfast can be booked in advance at an additional cost - price in the house manual.
We would like you to treat our home as if you were staying at the house of a friend - one that you would like to be asked back to! We have one well socialised dog and welcome other well behaved dogs . We would not wish you to smoke in the house or eat in the bedrooms.________________________________________
I love where I live - beautiful natural surrounding set within a place rich in community life. Airbnb gives me the opportunity to share this special place with others and will hopefully allow us to continue to enjoy our large home which, now that the children have flown the nest, has three spare bedrooms. It is also good to hear the tales of other travellers – we have done quite a bit of travelling over the years, most frequently in India where we are involved with several projects. Good food is important to me - until recently I ran an award winning catering business specialising in local, seasonal and fresh produce. So cooking and sharing food with others is still a huge pleasure. What more to say? As a fully qualified yoga teacher, Yoga is part of my life choices, together with the need to live as sustainably and cheerfully as possible.
