Nestled in beautiful gardens & equipped with first class amenities, "The Annexe" is located on Canberra's premier street, in the heart of Old Canberra. Beautifully decorated, close to Parliament House and other tourist attractions, it is the perfect place for a luxurious yet peaceful getaway.
The Annexe is luxuriously decorated with antiques and memorabilia and has top quality amenities. It is set in a beautiful old fashioned garden - camellias, azaleas, magnolia, daphne. There is your own secluded deck with chairs and table from which to enjoy it - and the resident bird life. Views from every window and a barrel vault with remote control blind makes the space incredibly light and airy. There is a private entrance with keyless entry and security and off street parking in your own driveway. Fresh flowers and a fruit bowl greet you on arrival. The luxury queen size bed has Pima cotton sheets and a feather topper and you can pamper yourself with Australian made, organic toiletries in the walk-in rain shower. Under floor heating, air conditioning & reverse cycle heating ensure you are always perfectly comfortable. The kitchenette is equipped with Nespresso, T2 tea, bar fridge, microwave, toaster & kettle and you also have available a hair dryer, iron & ironing board. Enjoy free wi-fi access or lie back in bed to watch the flat panel TV with Foxtel (with platinum channels), Bluray player and Apple TV (you will need your own Apple ID). There is a sofa bed for 2 additional guests if required. On request we can provide access to laundry, under cover parking, full kitchen and gym equipment. The Annexe is also wheel chair accessible and the shower has disabled access.

Tim works from home and is usually available to greet and assist you. We are generally flexible regarding check in and check out times. The Annexe is always stocked with coffee, tea, milk and sugar and there is a fruit bowl and fresh flowers on arrival. We can also supply other provisions (including home-grown eggs, fruit, vegetables and herbs when available), and enjoy special requests (birthday balloons, champagne on arrival ....) that can make your stay more memorable. We are happy to make recommendations for local restaurants, cafes and tourist attractions. We are keen gardeners and happy to show you around the main gardens. We walk on the adjacent Red Hill Nature Park with our dogs every day and you are welcome to join us.
Další věci, které stojí za zmínku
We have 2 large dogs who do not have access to any of The Annexe facilities - outdoor or indoor - but may be seen in the main garden.
There is a 2m x 2m indoor space, with tiled floor and in-slab heating, where our canine visitors can stay for short periods whilst their families are out. However there is no secure outdoor space.
The gardens are filled with a continuous parade of native birds, there are possums in the surrounding trees and kangaroos literally at the back gate.
The Annexe is non-smoking and we appreciate your consideration of our neighbours. We are animal lovers and welcome pets with prior notice and provided they are house-trained, quiet and do no damage to the property. There is a small internal space with in-slab heating where pets can be safely left for short periods but there is no secure outdoor space. Of course any damage, repairs or cleaning will incur additional charges. For stays longer than 7 days there is a cleaning charge of $60 per week and we provide a fresh set of linen and towels each week.
