Great Location: Pool & View: The best thing is the location on top of the hill overlooking the beautiful aqua waters of Erakor Lagoon and Island. It always has nice breezes and is 2-3 degrees cooler than the centre of town. (though we are only 7 mins to town)

The apartment is close to local resorts , within walking distance and access to day spa, golf course, tennis, restaurants pool with swim up bars and water sports and kids activities you can use.
Corner shop at the bottom of the hill. Generally you will have the pool to yourself during working hours. Only one other guest may use the pool at other times.

Close to transport/town. No real need for a car as minbuses are hail and ride to the apartment and a phone call can be made to ask them to come and pick you up from the apartment . Cost around $2 /pp. But you may want to hire a car for a day or two to explore the island or alternatively, do a round Island tour with one of the many tour operators. Taxi about $7 to town. Buses are very frequent at bottom of the street. Five mins to Bon Marche supermarket.

Great facilities: House has a well equipped kitchen, large fridge freezer and icemaker, cappuccino machine, plunger coffee, Nespresso machine, microwave , oven , cooktop, Dry Fryer, toaster, sandwich toaster, Electric Wok and Frypan, Bread/dough maker, food processor. BBQ and Pizza oven for your personal use.
Linen and bath towels provided . (Beach towels extra $5/pp on request at time of booking or BYO)

Scales to weigh baggage. Washer/dryer, iron, hairdryer.

Beds can be made in to 3 kings or 1 king and 4 singles. Advise at time of booking what you would like.

Outdoor Facilities: Pool , own BBQ and pizza oven ,outdoor dining table and seating, pool lounges and pool toys. Picnic set, beach shelter, cooler , picnic blanket for picnics around the island.

Great Security: External lighting, Crimsafe, electric roller shutters, perimeter security alarms and cameras. Fire alarms, smoke detectors, Fire extinguisher, lockable bedrooms and a safe available.

On site Services: Housekeeper comes 2-3 times/wk between 9-12md (not on weekends or public holidays)

Massage and beauty treatments available on site or at several local spas. Erakor Island has a nice one.

Business travellers catered for: Office equipment avail on request (at additional charge) eg printer, scanner, photocopier, computer for business stays. Loan of local Digicel phone available on request. (you can top up on line).Internet available . Internet is slow and flaky in Vanuatu. No streaming possible. Satellite Tv ( is affected by bad weather)

Entertainment: TV, Foxtel, Free to air Oz channels - Tvs in every room, and a 2.3M wide screen for projector TV in living room. Dvd Library, DVD players . Board games,roulette/blackjack , book library provided. Music channels on Foxtel feeds to other rooms. Main bedroom has separate Foxtel box.

Owners contactable at all times 24/7 on phone and email . Door code given to access. We can arrange pick up / drop off to airport- set fee around 3000vt and paid direct to driver). Driver can stop at Au Bon Marche Supermarket on the way home from airport so you can do a food shop/ buy alcohol, buy a local sim or get cash from ATM. Pay him an additional fee for this stop to cover his time.

The House Manual explains everything needed for your stay and will be sent prior for you to read as it contains important information for your trip. Please send your email so we can send this

Additional costs- 12000vt/WK paid to housekeeper to cover utilities cost. this needs to be paid locally as gas has to be paid in cash on delivery
Electricity- If over 120 kWh used /WK there is an extra charge @83c aud / kWh , 95% of bookings do not go over this. And you can easily monitor on the in house meter in the laundry. By doing it this way, we can keep the cost down for most guests stays rather than have to incorporate an extra fee to everyone and helps promote precious use of resources. The only bookings that have gone over are Jan Feb March as these are the hottest months. The most someone has gone over is $50 if they use our electricity saving tips sent in the manual.
Internet included, please be aware, internet is patchy and slow on the island (we cant fix that!)
For security reasons the booking guest must have presented to owners their licence or passport info on booking for entry.(send via email or photo)

Babysitting can be arranged.
Recommendations for restaurants and activities can be given if you tell us what you would like to do on your holiday. A house manual will be sent with lots of important information for your stay so be sure to read in full before coming

It overlooks the lovely lagoon and is close to the Le Lagon resort with its Asian and sushi restaurant, buffet pool lunches, fantastic pools with swim up bar , golf, day spa, water sports that you can use as a day visitor (you pay an entry fee about $18 that can be used to pay for drinks/lunch).

Its also close to the boat over to Erakor Island where there is a day spa and lunch facilities. Short bus trip to town and supermarket. (6mins)
Home delivery pizza, sushi, wraps, salads for those lazy days. ( details on kitchen noticeboard) or you can ask the housekeeper to do a shop for you.
If you are arriving late at night we can prearrange a shop so you have food on site for your arrival.

Plenty of cabs and buses available from the airport for your arrival.
Apartment is Close to plentiful public transport. We provide a number for a taxi and bus driver you can call to pick you up and drop you home or you can walk down the hill (15mins) and hail and ride to anywhere you want to go. A bus would be available within usually 5 mins anytime from the bottom of hill. If phoning for a bus please allow at least 30 mins delay as they may have a run to finish and if using for the trip to the airport, to be safe give yourselves 1 hr at least extra time for bus or taxi to come in case of any delay. If you meet a good busdriver/cab driver- collect their numbers and post on the notice board as they change over time
After airport arrival you can have the cab stop on the way home while you get your provisions , local sim, alcohol and cash at the ATM at the supermarket Au Bon Marche at Nambatu

All damage and repairs needed must be advised immediately they occur.
Any problems, issues must be notified immediately to allow rectification as soon as possible so your stay is not impacted. We want all our guests to have a fabulous time.
Bond check for damages and electricity meter reading occurs at beginning/end of stay, by housekeeper (and yourself if desired for confirmation)
Damages bond is $500 (held by air BNB)
Additional watersports bond required if you intent to use kayak or water aqua pad. This is sent to owners. Please enquire. Discuss when booking as they are locked away.
You can bring your own beach towels or we can supply at $5/pp extra(please advise at time of booking)

Our cancellation policy is strict and overrides the AIRBNB policy
We will refund if we can rebook your dates with another guest. Early notice is the key.
So be sure to get travel insurance which is essential anyway as medical facilities are not to our western standards and everyone who travels overseas needs medivac cover. We use Aussie Cover. We find them great.( Brisbane based)
Remember no alcohol for sale in supermarkets from Sat 11.30am to Monday morning.

Residential quiet time between 9pm and 8am (The Port Vila municipality has a $250 fine for noise breaches in this period)
