A small rustic cabin on a beautiful lake, simply a seasonal bed&breakfast in a private setting surrounded by trees but right next door to our home and walking distance to a quaint Maine village.
Small lakeside cabin. Two rooms; a sitting room and a bedroom with one queen sized bed, it also has a private bath with a small camp-sized shower. We will leave coffee, fruit and a light breakfast in your room and supply linens and towels. This cabin does not have a kitchen so cooking or grilling is not possible but our amenities include coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge, wireless Internet, and a window unit that provides heat, AC, or a fan. There are lounge chairs available on the point in front of the main house and on the beach. We have beautiful sunsets.
Wayne is located in the heart of the lakes district of Maine (Wayne has seven ponds and lakes itself!) and we are a short distance to the mountains and not that far from the coast, with golf courses and hiking nearby.
Přístup pro hosty
We have lake access so guests are welcome to bring canoes or kayaks. There is a sand beach available for swimming unless the lake is unusually high (occasional spring flooding).
Vztahy s hosty
We live right next door to the guest cabin so we are available for questions or directions but we understand that peace and privacy is why most guests visit us. In respect for our privacy we ask guests not to entertain (have company) at the cabin.
Další věci, které stojí za zmínku
This cabin does not have a kitchen so cooking is not possible, we are simply a bed & breakfast. We have one other small (non-rental) cabin on the property so occasionally there could be another guest or two wandering around.
(Late arrivals might want to stop for dinner on the way to Wayne. There are many great restaurants to choose from but most stop serving around 9o'clock.)
House rules are simple, to protect our privacy we ask our guests not to entertain (have other guests) at the cabin. Just enjoy your stay and be respectful of our property.
Carpenter and musician by trade with a love for traveling! Though I can think of no place I'd rather be than Maine in the summer. Kris and I organic garden and have a small orchard on our 10 acres. When we travel we like to be off the beaten path and hope to offer that same experience to our guests.
