Thank you for staying with us in our home. We value all our guests' feedback, as you can see from our long history of excellent reviews, and we always enjoy allowing guests into our retreat.
We go to great lengths to describe the home in exact detail on the listing, and the arrangement of beds and bedrooms is described in multiple places. We try to provide our guests with as much information as possible before they book, so they know exactly what to expect from our home. While it is the responsibility of the host to provide as much detail as possible in the listing, which we do (including room descriptions, bed placement, minimums and countless other details), it is the responsibility of the guest to read these listings before booking so they know precisely what they are renting. The home is professionally cleaned top to bottom by our team in between every guest; the hot tub is less than a year old, and is maintained weekly by a spa company - we’re surprised by this feedback considering that the guests both previous to and following your stay enjoyed it greatly.
It is clear that you originally booked for four people, mentioned that there were six in your group, and then became upset when our team kindly asked to amend your guest count to adhere to Airbnb’s strict policies which are in place to protect homeowners. You also refused to accept the amendment for your correct guest count, and we are working with a Case Manager on this issue as it is a direct violation of Airbnb’s, and our, Terms of Service.
During your stay you brought no concerns to our attention regarding anything other than the accurately described bedroom and bed count. Instead, you have now chosen to take out your frustrations on the review and the owner of this gorgeous home which so many seasoned travelers have enjoyed. We absolutely agree with your advice to other travelers to read all the details - being an informed guest ensures an enjoyable experience.
We wish you the safest of travels.
