Come and stay in our awesome and sunny guest house in Mangawhai Heads! Only 15 minutes walk from the estuary beach, the Wood street shops and 30 minutes walk to the popular surf beach! You will love staying here, the apartment has large north facing triple stacker sliding doors that you can leave open to soak in the all day sun! The Annex - self contained unit .

The Annex is on a small farmlet, 6 km south of Whangarei, with harbour views. It was a sleepout, built in the 1980's, separate, but next to the main house. It has two bedrooms. There is a double bed and two singles plus a day bed in the living area. The living/ dining area, has a wood fire. There is a small shower room and separate toilet. It is situated about 100 mtr off SH1, so there can be road noise. There are no streetlights and it can be very dark if you arrive after sundown.

Rose's Cottage

A self contained cottage. 1 minute walk from a long, white sand popular surf beach and 2 minutes to a beautiful tidal estuary. The cottage is behind my house in a semi tropical lush garden. Pataua is a perfect place for walking, surfing, paddle boarding, kayaking or just relaxing. The garden is fenced so safe for babies and children or a small dog. My small dogs Ody and Tom share the garden. They are full of life but super friendly and gentle.

Thistle Do Beach Bach is located meters off State Highway 1 at Ruakaka. The open plan lounge and kitchen has large windows and doors that allow maximum light and airflow, while the doors open onto a sun drenched deck with gas BBQ and outdoor setting. Inside the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need, including fridge/freezer, microwave, cooktop, electric frypan and dishwasher.
