Chessell Pottery is right next door, where you can do pottery painting or simply enjoy some delicious lunch or their award winning cream teas. Tapnell Farm & The Cow Company are about a mile away providing heaps of fun for the kids including climbing wall, bouncing pit and interacting with the animals. Fabulous food here too.
Locally there is horse riding, paragliding, canoeing, sailing, surfing (the famous Compton beach is just a couple of miles away), paddle boarding, wind surfing, kite surfing, walking, cycling, swimming, Alpaca trekking, golf courses, one is a 10 hole, 3 par and the other a testing 18 hole links course up on the downs, overlooking Freshwater Bay. Plus there's heaps more to do, including the more gentle activities like yoga, pilates, building sand castles or just sitting in the garden and reading.
