Un hôte très utile et un appartement dispose de ressources suffisantes. Nous avons eu un beau temps et notre 8 ans aimé le curling sur le lit de jour pour lire et regarder la télévision.

Große Wohnung. Man fühlt sich viel mehr wie ein Haus, wenn Sie im Inneren sind, wie es so leicht und luftig ist. Emma bot alles, was wir brauchten und war schnell auf alle Anfragen zu beantworten.

Ma première utilisation de airbnb et nous sommes bénis avec une propriété fissuration. Emma est un hôte et une attention aux détails était superbe. Nous avions tout ce dont nous avions besoin pour rendre notre séjour très confortable et le choix du petit déjeuner était un merveilleux ajout. Nous l'avons utilisé comme base pour visiter Darlington et notre est à seulement 20 minutes.

Lovely modernised home with large rooms, high ceilings, large windows, nice kitchen/diner too. We were able to park our car on the road outside the side gate and leave it there.

The house is very comfortable with good taste of decoration. It is very clean and bed is super great. You will need to buy your own milk but other than that everything you need is there and much much more. There is a living room with sofa and TV which has Netflix and also many kinds of board game to play. You can park for free from house number 3 onwards. Very happy with the stay and will want to be back. I enjoyed going to Barnards Castle area where they have a nice castle and some antique shops which I brought many things for good price.

The accommodation was everything it says it is and a little more, very spacious, with lovely big windows letting in lots of light. Was a great location too.

Apprécié les articles de petit-déjeuner et ne pas avoir à apporter notre propre avec nous pour un séjour d'une nuit était un énorme avantage. Une bouteille de vin à l'arrivée était inattendue et très apprécié aussi! Appartement est spacieux avec un bon accès et beaucoup de place pour nous tous. La cuisine a beaucoup de vaisselle et était comme une deuxième maison. Nous y retournerons sans hésiter si nous jamais la recherche d'un pad dans ce domaine.

The place was beautiful. Perfectly placed for a quiet night in or a short walk from the nightlife! The apartment itself is just perfect. Cute but high tech. Every feature made me want to stay more and more! The hosts are very accommodating and very nice!

We stayed for 3 days and loved it. Had a really nice mix of modern & older aspects which gave it a very cosy feel. 5 minutes walk from the food shops and 10 minutes from everything else. Lisa & Steve were extremely helpful and had no issues at all. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back in the future if we're up this way again!

I couldn't recommend this more highly. Both Lisa and Steve were hugely friendly and helpful both before and during our stay. They were very accommodating when we arrived at an antisocial hour, and were incredible helpful with any queries that we had. The flat is superb, by far the highest quality I've stayed in in Durham. It has all amenities you could possibly require, and is fantastically located. They would be my first recommendation for anyone looking to stay in the Durham area.

The best airBnb experience we had till now. Colin personally welcomed us at the property gates and showed around the place. Super clean and tidy place, a cute attic apartment, nice decor, with well stocked kitchen, TV, a lovely bed, and great views of the country side. Located in a well tended property, the hosts were very helpful, staying within the same property and always reachable. In three months of traveling and AirBnb-ing the United Kingdom, this was the 'best place' we stayed.

This place is a beautiful gem in the north of England. The facilities on offer were like something from a suite in a 5 star hotel ! Location is lovely and ideal for couples .The hosts were fantastic- genuine and courteous. Adrian and Bernadette were very welcoming and all was as described. There was tea, real coffee, milk, juice, fruit, baked beans, bread & butter available The accomodation is in an annex at the back of their house but you have your own entrance. En suite bathroom with massive bath! Tantobie is a nice quiet village with lovely views over Newcastle. Had a great night, much better than in a hotel and I even ended up buying a painting from Bernadette! Wifi (URL HIDDEN) TV ..not that that bothered me, I had a lovely bath and read my book! Excellent value for money and very friendly hosts and would definetly use them again.

After our hardest day on the c2c cycle tour, we were so pleased to arrive at Adrian's home. He provided secure storage for our bikes before showing us to our lovely room. The ensuite and self contained kitchen were a very welcome inclusion. A more than adequate breakfast was provided before we continued our journey. All in all, top marks! Thank you Adrian.

Adrian was a lovely and generous host. The kitchen was well equipped and Adrian had left us bread, milk and tea, along with space for our own food in the fridge. The bed was comfortable and the room was cozy and quiet. It was a nice place to stop for a rainy night

We had a lovely night at Adrian's Airbnb! We had an afternoon in nearby Durham, then went to see a show at Sunderland empire theatre and the following day went to Beamish, after having had our selfie taken with the angel of the north! It was a great place to rest our heads; the bed was so comfy and we slept really well! Though we didn't have chance to use the kitchen facilities, Adrian had provided us with bread, milk, fruit, tins of baked beans and quite a bit more. Furthermore, there were toiletries provided, which was absolutely brilliant as we didn't have to go and search for anything that we had forgotten to pack! Adrian had gone above and beyond, the place was lovely and clean! Although Tantobie was a bit secluded, it was only half an hour from Durham and Sunderland, and only just down the road from Beamish. Off-road parking was provided. Would definitely stay again if ever again in that neck of the woods!

We stayed for a weekend at Tantobie, and were pleased with the service provided. Although we were surprised to find that the rooms are actually in Adrian's house rather than self- contained, we felt very private and would not have known there was anyone else in the house. It is well equipped, with a comfortable bed, a lovely big bath and an efficient electric shower. We did not need to buy anything at all for breakfast while we were there, as a generous supply of essentials were provided. Extremely good value for money

Situado en el casco histórico de valles Wolsingham sólo cinco minutos a pie del centro, este es un moderno y bien equipado plana. Se establece en tres plantas, así que no es adecuado para cualquier persona con problemas de movilidad, pero es cálida, cómoda e impecable. Tiene todo lo que se necesita de un amplio conjunto de equipos de cocina a un altavoz azul-diente para escuchar música. Tuvimos pequeño problema con la calefacción y el contacto Neil, que salió dentro de los quince minutos, no podría haber sido más amable y servicial. Le recomendaríamos este piso para cualquiera que quiera una base tranquila para caminar o de turismo en esta hermosa zona.

We had a lovely relaxing weekend here. The apartment is split over 2 levels, making it feel very spacious. It was really lovely, clean and tidy, and all the essentials were provided. I would definitely recommend staying here.

If you want to visit the Bowes Museum this is an excellent location in the heart of Barnard Castle. The flat overlooks the main street with local shops, restaurant and the main attractions of the town are all within walking distance. The flat is clean & tidy, and with hosts who go out of their way to make you feel welcome a really good stop over.

Couldn't have got anymore perfect than staying in the Castle itself. Loved every second there. Flat was exceptional, clean warm and bang in the centre of town.

It is a beautiful flat, just as pictured. The gardens and Hall are also beautiful. 4 of us stayed in the flat and there is more than enough room for 4. Everything is clean, well-maintained, comfortable beds. There was no wifi, so we needed to take a short walk to the nearby Radisson to update email. The town is certainly within walking distance. We would certainly recommend for most people, but not for anyone who might have problems with stairs or walking into town. We loved our visit, and took many pictures!

Would definitely recommend this for anyone coming to Durham. The location is perfect, close enough to walk everywhere, and also quiet and peaceful with countryside and river views. We really enjoyed looking round the Hall and gardens - an unexpected surprise. The apartment is spacious, comfortable, well equipped and tastefully decorated, a very pleasant place to stay. Our only disappointment was we only had 1 night, we hope to return one day.

We had a great 2 night stay in Durham. The apartment is very clean, warm and spacious and had everything we needed. It's in a great location within easy walking distance to the centre but still lovely and tranquil. It's next to the beautiful gardens, which we enjoyed looking around, and above a lovely cafe which is open in the day time. If we go back to Durham I would definitely book this apartment again. Thanks for being a great host.

Super apartment by the river in Durham- great location close to town centre. Apartment was warm, clean and very spacious - garden cafe beneath was great for breakfast and a coffee/ cake afternoon tea too. Parking on site was also very handy - hope to stay again in the future.

The Oasis Apartment is a great find. Lovely amenities and the most perfect position in Durham. Sharon was there to meet us and settle us in - she's a wonderful asset to the property. We had a wonderful few days here and enjoyed being able to return to such comfort. Thank-you Ray for allowing us to stay in such a lovely apartment. Highly recommended!

We were met by Ray's friend Sharon, who was delightful. She showed us to the apartment and explained everything. I can't recommend this place highly enough. The location is very central - so having an allocated parking space is a great bonus. The standard of the accommodation is very high indeed, and the apartment comes equipped with absolutely everything you could hope. Nice touches like snacks and wine being available, and crumpets, butter and jam in the fridge for next day's breakfast. Great place to stay in Durham.

We arrived the evening of the Annual Miner's Gala. What a party! We were very happy to be located near the center of action. The place is very nicely decorated and remained quiet despite all the festivities. I would recommend this oasis to all who wish to visit Durham!

The host was very friendly and informative. The area was quite and the appartment had everything a person could need.

We were greeted by Claire the agent of this property. She is very welcoming and made you feel at home straight away. Basic breakfast food was provided which was a really nice touch. The property is in a great location for what we needed and also very safe and quiet. Our 6 weeks stay was flawless. The iron was missing but that, to me, is a blessing in disguise cos I hate ironing. The TV channels was sufficient and wifi works great. If we ever need a place to stay in this area, we will definitely stay here again.

We had a good stay. The cottage is cosy and well equipped and had everything we needed.

This is a spacious, comfortable and well equipped apartment within a 10 minute walk of the city centre. It was quiet with plenty of parking, and in a pleasant location which all made for a successful trip. Toast lettings were on-hand and helpful.

This was a wonderful place to stay for a few days in February half term. It is close to Durham which is what we wanted, and the flat is warm, spacious and has everything you need. The wet weather didn't spoil things as it was a great place for all the family to relax. Auckland Castle is a short walk away and the grounds are beautiful. We are hoping visit again some time!

Emma's place is wonderful. The place is so well equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The addition of basic food provisions in the kitchen meant that all I needed to buy was milk for our breakfast. The bedrooms are huge and very comfortable with luxury mattresses and bedding. My 2 boys age 6 and 7 had no problems sharing a bed as it was so huge! A pillow in between them was enough to separate them. The lounge area was very comfortable with a cozy fire and candles provided to make a quiet evening in watching Netflix/TV and drinking complementary Prosecco very enjoyable. Compared to staying locally in a hotel or B&B, Emma's place provides accommodation as good as or far better at a fraction of the price. Thank you very much Emma.

A great location to visit Durham and the surrounding areas. Lovely pub in the Market Place and great walk along the river. Would recommend it to anybody visiting the area.
