Très grande maison avec beaucoup d'espace. Les lits étaient très confortables. La maison est orientée pour des groupes de vététistes et nous étions ici pour un court séjour en famille ne peut donc pas commenter sur les installations de vélo.

Perfect house for a group MTB weekend. The house is within a 5 minute drive of the centre and 10 minute walk from a surprisingly lively pub! The house isn't very luxurious, but it's warm, spacious and was exactly what you need for a biking weekend. Parking is a 5 minute walk away with loading space outside the house so it's not a problem

A great weekend base for cycling in the afan valleys. Just what we needed for a group of 10, a comfy warm space with plenty of room and secure storage!!

Fantástica propiedad .... tan bueno tener todos los elementos básicos (papel higiénico, detergente líquido, pastillas de lavavajillas, papel de cocina, la limpieza de aerosol, etc.) no - hace una gran diferencia. Situación ideal para MTBing - ubicación, muy tranquilo no hay bares / lugares para comer y no pudimos conseguir cualquiera de las empresas de taxi que nos lleve a ninguna parte por lo que sólo algo a tener en cuenta .... la paz y tranquilidad es el as sin embargo! ! :-)

Thanks for a lovely stay. Glyncorrwg village was peaceful and relaxing, the communication with Mike was straightforward and the house was warm and welcoming. We had some great rides on the mountain-bike trails and would recommend the house and the area.

La maison a fait exactement ce dont nous avions besoin pour. Belle et spacieuse donc nous avions tout en travaillant intimité loin de la maison toute la semaine.

Großes Haus für Mountainbike in Afan Tal, ist Edel ein toller Gastgeber und konnte nicht mehr hilfreich. Milch im Kühlschrank und Kuchen bei der Ankunft war hervorragend. Das einzige Problem war, dass das Pub hat dient nicht am Samstag Nacht und das Mitnehmen wurde wegen Ferien geschlossen.

Ideale Lage für eine kleine Gruppe von Mountainbikern zu Afan Wald. Edel war wunderbar und wurde in der Unterkunft zu warten, um uns zu treffen. Der Ort, um alle unsere Bedürfnisse für 4 Jungs Mountainbike über ein Wochenende traf. Oh und Edel macht einen schönen Kuchen auch!

Une maison de famille absolument merveilleux dans un cadre magnifique. Superbe vue et promenades et tout de la route assez près en voiture à tout. Edel était un hôte très sympa et très accueillant à l'arrivée.

chalet vraiment confortable avec une cuisine bien équipée. Edel m'a fait un gâteau végétalien délicieux et a obtenu le lait de soja dans pour moi qui était très attentionné. Je logeais dans le village pour le travail et il est un lieu convivial et paisible avec de beaux paysages et moi avons eu la chance de faire quelques promenades. Découvrez la salle des ouvriers à proximité qui a une salle de sport et des soirées cinéma.

séjour génial! Après une très longue journée de voyage edel était très bienvenue et hôte attentionné. Très bien situé pour explorer la forêt Afan et le parc national des Brecon Beacons est pas loin non plus! Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour et Edels très petites attentions du lait / pain et des gâteaux faits maison était génial! Merci pour un merveilleux séjour :)

Un montón de espacio con 6 adultos que se alojarán y buenas instalaciones. La cubierta en la parte trasera de la casa sería de gran uso en el verano (que por desgracia tuvimos lluvias de abril en nuestro fin de semana!). El lugar ideal para salir a pasear (local o un corto viaje a Brecon Beacons), en dirección a la playa o alquilar bicicletas con un montón de instalaciones de alquiler de bicicletas cerca. Sin duda volvería a la casa de Hilton de nuevo en el futuro.

We had a really lovely stay. Fantastic access to beautiful countryside. The house is heated by the original coal fire which was lovely. A real getaway from modern life !

Während unseres Aufenthaltes in Kates airbnb sehr schön war, gab es bestimmte Probleme, die entstanden sind. Nur zwei Tage, bevor wir waren auf der airbnb ankommen, informiert kate uns, dass wir müssten unsere eigene Bettwäsche, Bettbezüge und Handtücher mitbringen. Wir waren nicht bewusst ist, so dass es ein bisschen ein Schock war. Zum Glück war sie schnell das Problem zu lösen und hat die Betten bereitzustellen, die sehr geschätzt wurde. Wir erwarteten auch Wi-Fi, aber die Pay-as-you-go-Wi-Fi nicht hatte nachgefüllt und trotz häufiger Anfragen, wurde nicht von Kate nachgefüllt. Es war nicht möglich, mit ihr in Kontakt zu treten, auch über den lokalen Kontakt, dass sie uns gegeben hatte. Es gab auch kein heißes Wasser. Der lokale Kontakt Nigel war sehr freundlich und brachte uns Holz für das Feuer. Das Haus ist einfach, aber gut in den Tälern gelegt, die Einheimischen sind sehr freundlich und erwarten viele schöne Wanderungen. Es geht um eine 45-minütige Fahrt von Cardiff und es gibt eine Asda etwa eine halbe Stunde entfernt. Wenn Sie für eine Flucht aus der Stadt suchen und nichts dagegen weg zu sein von Wi-Fi oder Technologie finden Sie hier eine tolle Zeit haben. Just bewusst sein, der vorherigen Punkte, Sie für eine sehr einfache Hütte im Hinblick auf die Annehmlichkeiten zahlen sind - aber das günstige Preis bedenkt, dass fast ist zu erwarten.

Rhondda valley is a beautiful place, the waterfall and walks are just outside the house and it was lovely! The back yard needs some attention and maybe an extra unit in the kitchen as it was difficult to find space to cook! The house is what you pay for and using the fire was lovely as it does get cold in the house. I think permanent wifi needs to be available! Other than that we enjoyed are 4 days and Kate was great with communication!

Wir nie getroffen eigentlich Kate, aber wir haben mit ihr per E-Mail viel Kommunikation haben und sie war sehr schnell zu reagieren. Obwohl die Straßen von den nahe gelegenen Dörfern ziemlich überlastet sind, ist es ein idealer Ort für den Charme des südlichen Wales besuchen. Die Wanderung auf den Berg am Ende der Straße führt zu einem schönen Wasserfall und einem atemberaubenden Blick auf - was für ein Bonus vor der Tür zu haben! Es gab 6 von uns hier zu bleiben, und wir alle Zimmer hatten und wir waren komfortabel.

Kate war sehr leicht zu kommunizieren und die Lage ist fantastisch für ins Tal raus. Sehr ruhiges kleines Dorf. Ein wunderbares Fleckchen.

Ich habe es wirklich genossen hier zu bleiben. (: Das Haus mit viel Licht ist geräumig, schön eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet Es fühlte sich gemütlich und gut gepflegt Große Auswahl der Bücher zu lesen In der unmittelbaren Umgebung gibt es ein Pub und ein Kinder.! . Spielplatz, Geschäfte nicht weit entfernt, so dass es nicht aus dem Nichts in der Mitte fühlte die Umgebung ist wirklich schön zu - erstaunlich Hügel, Wasserfälle, kurvige Bergstraßen -. leicht zu den Brecon Beacons oder sogar nach Cardiff zu bekommen Wir hatten . noch nie zuvor in der Rhondda gewesen, und das war ein kurzer Besuch, aber ich würde auf jeden Fall in diesem Haus wieder bleiben der Preis war sehr vernünftig zu Dank Kate, dass Sie uns bleiben -. ein perfektes kleines Versteck!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed. The location was peaceful and ideal for visiting Swansea and Cardiff. We also enjoyed a trip to the seaside (Porthcawl) only a short drive away. The children enjoyed the nearby park and nature trail (and so did the dog!). We would definitely stay here again.

Patrick's place in the valleys was clean, spacious, and perfect for a family or a group of 4 to escape into Brecon Beacons. There's a really nice waterfall walk on the doorstep and easy access to other walks in the national park. The check-in process was a breeze and Patrick was very helpful.

We had a fantastic time during our stay with Phil and Theresa! They were ever so welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We had some amazing walks with them and saw so many incredible waterfalls with, they were brilliant walking partners! We really enjoyed meeting them and their pets Holly and Gizmo and they went out of their way to make our anniversary stay special, couldn't have asked for better hosts!

Staying with Theresa and Phil in Resolven was a much needed escape from London. We enjoyed the surroundings and their company so much that we were planning a return before we even left. Ours hosts were helpful in planning a walking route and preparing us for a rainy walk. Phil took us out with their friendly dog to see the waterfall that is just minutes away. Their home has every amenity- clean, comfortable, cozy corners for reading and a beautiful view from the hot tub. We weren't wanting for anything- save a bit more sunshine! Will hopefully return soon.

Phil and Teresa's is a heavenly home away from home with nicest people. Best surroundings. Ask Phil to take you on a walk on the local tracks, it's an experience you'll always remember. Highly recommended hosts!!!

Last minute booking was really easy, really friendly couple and we had a great stay. They went out of their way to make us feel at home and enjoy our stay. As did their pets :)

Phil and Theresa were brilliant hosts! Very friendly and helpful with ideas on waterfalls and attractions to visit. Phil took us out on a walk with his beautiful dog up to the local waterfall just across the road from the house. Great to sit down and have a chat with them both and they respected when we wanted a couple of hours to ourselves to relax. All in all a very nice stay and would stay here again

Superb location for walkers, cyclists or kayakers. On a quiet road 20mins cycling from Neath and just an hour's ride up into the Beacons. Very close to the Neath canal, River Neath and of course the stunning waterfalls. The lovely comfy and warm room and private bathroom were just what I needed after a couple of very wet rides. Phil and Teresa are perfect hosts and could not have been more accommodating, storing my bike in the garage, finding me places to dry my kit and even packing me off with a super vegan packed lunch on the last day. Teresa's an excellent cook too, her home made pate and seitan are fit for the (vegan) gods! I'd give Phil's place 6 stars if I could.

My friends and I were doing a Road Trip and this was our first stop. We arrived late in the evening, but Louise was lovely and made sure the key was available for collection. In our opinion, the house is even better than the pictures. Louise was amazingly thoughtful by leaving us some coffee, milk and cereals - which we appreciated very much! Also, there are a few board games available - that made our night! Well, at least for the team that won. Overall, this is an amazing place to stop and rest, or even to stay for a few days If you are in a group. It is situated in a small town, near Brecon Beacons. Clean, accessible and for a really good value. We can't thank enough for such a great start in our road trip!

Louise is very friendly and helpful. Her house is just off A465 which connects M4. Brecon Beacons is just a half hour drive on the A465. The view up there are stuning as we are lucky enough to have a clear day in mid-Feb. The house is well equipped and spacious. The beds are soft and comfortable. There is a garage at the back so no worries for parking space. The neighborhood is very peaceful and quiet.

Nice and recommended. Very clean. Good space for family with large kitchen, dinning area and living room. Used the playground and off license which are short walking distance. The town is small and nothing to do in it. We used it as a base for walks on the waterfall country which is great. Owner very nice and helpful

Perfect spot for a weekends mountain biking. We had great fun with 8 of us. Good selection of 90s rock in the CD rack and unique pink grout in the bathroom! Recommended

Les hôtes avant Téléphoné et quand nous sommes arrivés et ils étaient très gentils et serviables. Trouvé la maison et l'accès gagné aucun problème. Beaucoup d'informations sur la maison et les installations locales / secteur ont été fournis, ainsi que beaucoup de literie et les serviettes. Cette maison était super pour nous, deux familles faisant 8 personnes et un chien. Beaucoup d'espace et de lits pour adapter tout le monde. Alors que le village est pas excitant, l'endroit est idéal pour des promenades chien long et le vélo de montagne, avec beaucoup d'espace en plein air pour laisser notre matériel boueux. Je le recommande pour les grands groupes de personnes en plein air.

Mike's house is huge - spacious, warm and welcoming. It's very good value for money and we had an awesome stay. Just note that glyncorrwyg is quite remote, with just one shop and no restaurants, but there is an awesome pub!

Perfect place to stay if you want to get out on the amazing mountain bike trails at Afan Forest Park. The house is very close to the Glyncorrwg centre (2 minute ride/drive) and the start of blade/whites level/w2. It has great facilities including secure bike lock up and lots of extras you wouldn't get in alot of places (spare rags, bike repair stand etc). Clean, comfortable and well kitted out. Even had some nice beer there with an honesty box although we had brought plenty along with us so didn't need it :) Highly reccomend it and will definitely be back next time we fancy an afan trip! :)

Our family of 4, plus our lurcher, really enjoyed Ty Skyline House. Simply and tastefully decorated, the house was well stocked with kitchen items, condiments, towels etc – even, thoughtfully, spare clothes in case yours get wet or muddy! It feels very professional that Mike has left out lots of clear written explanations of how things work. Thanks to the bike shed, we kept our mountain bikes safe and dry – there was even a stand for repairing them. The location is wonderful: a beautiful valley excellently close to Afan Forest, and there's a nice, honest feel to the small town. My daughter and I hiked up some stunning steep hills nearby. The house guest book is full of references to how peaceful it all is. Couldn't agree more. Staying here made us appreciate authentic Wales as never before.

We had a great weekend, the property was great and perfect for a stag party. Bob was more than helpful with organising and logistics for the weekend. We would all highly reccomend this place for a trip. And we would all go back again. Amazing!! Thanks bob.

Hugh was very proactive with the booking process and providing information on the cottage. The cottage itself was exactly as described / pictured. For us it was totally perfect, as we stayed to take part in the Dragon ride, so the bike store was much appreciated. The shower was absolutely wonderful. Could not fault the process or the stay. Just a massive thank you to Hugh!
