in the Vale of Evesham, our beautiful home; built 1904 with many original features, is a perfect for touring Cotswold villages, climbing the Malvern hills, visiting Stratford upon Avon or local National Trust houses/gardens. Regular trains between London & Evesham BUT car is essential for touring the area.
Overlooking quiet gardens, our peaceful guest bedroom has the use of a small recently refurbished bathroom nearby, no bath, but with a generous sized shower and downstairs there is a further shower room. Occasionally the shower rooms will need to be shared when the single room is occupied. Please note the double bed is standard size, 4'6" wide by 6'6" long. Unless I have friends over for supper guests are welcome to use the kitchen to cook a meal, though most people seem to go out to eat.
Apart from our lovely neighbours, we have the River Avon and a great prize winning park beside it. For night life we have the amazing restored Art Deco private cinema, The Regal, with the latest films, live acts and music.

Celkem fantastické místo k pobytu a velkou hodnotu.

Broadway is a beautiful village in the North Cotswolds, steeped in history and surrounded by stunning countryside. The village gets its name from the wide street, or broad way, that runs through the centre which was once the main road from Worcester to London. This attractive High Street is bordered with chestnut trees and honey coloured stone cottages dating from the 16th century and is one of the most picturesque villages of the Cotswolds. The broad way is thought to be especially wide because at one time there used to be streams running each side of the main drive. These streams were eventually hidden in underground pipes where they would emerge at 'dipping' points, but sadly they are now almost completely invisible. The village has artistic links with famous dwellers including J.M. Barrie, Mary Anderson and William Morris, who were drawn to the tranquillity of Broadway. It was here that Morris and John Ruskin pioneered the idea of the Arts and Crafts Movement which made its home in the area and went on to be an international movement. One of the iconic features of the village is Broadway Tower which was built in the late 18th century by the Earl of Coventry. It is said that the tower was erected so that the Countess could see if her Cotswold estate was visible from Croome Court in Worcestershire, which it was. The folly stands some 1,024 feet above sea level, making it the second highest point in the Cotswolds after Cleeve Hill. In fact, on a clear day, visitors are able to see 14 counties from the top! William Morris was so taken by the tower that he went on to establish the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings in 1877. Food & Drink Broadway has a number of places to eat and drink, with a range of cuisines and prices to suit most tastes and budgets. The list below is a sample of the options available: Russell's (www.russellsofbroadway.co.uk): Head Chef, Neil Clarke, serves modern British food in the award-winning restaurant, with local Vale of Evesham and Cotswold produce featuring throughout the daily-changing menus. The modern, airy dining room is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with friendly staff and laid-back service combining to create a relaxed and warm setting, day and night; The Lygon Arms (http://www.thehotelcollection.co.uk/hotels/the-lygon-arms-hotel-cotswolds/): A 17th century minstrel's gallery, a grand open fire and an imposing barrel-vaulted ceiling greet you as you enter The Great Hall, the main dining room of the famous Lygon Arms Hotel. A destination in its own right, people travel miles to enjoy the restaurant's 2 AA Rosettes for excellence sumptuous cuisine and warm friendly service of the highest quality. A few steps across the courtyard, Lukes Bistro offers a relaxing atmosphere serving traditional English cuisine with a contemporary twist, equally as imaginative and as fresh, using ingredients that are grown and reared locally, including a wide range of herbs and plums from the hotel's own orchards; The Potting Shed (www.dormyhouse.co.uk/potting-shed-restaurant): The Potting Shed is everything a Cotswold country dining pub should be. It's relaxed and inviting, with a large leather-and-oak bar and a rustic agenda. This is English pub grub as it ought to be: sticky ribs, great bangers, slow-cooked pork belly and fish that's been caught on our shores. Dress up and enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail, or dress down and bring the kids.

This is a downstairs bedroom with a small double bed and own shower room which is across the hall. It has a walk in wardrobe with chest of drawers, mirror and chair. Toiletries, towels, linen, hairdryer and an electric blanket in the winter. Off road parking. I offer a light breakfast of cereal, toast, tea and coffee. We are a friendly household, a very much 'home from home'.
My home is in the countryside, near Pershore College, an easy walk into town ... Under a mile and your right in the middle of Pershore. Pershore has an abbey, a lovely park, indoor market, theatre, cinema, tennis courts, sports centre with a swimming pool and plenty of places to eat. I'm flexible on arrival times, on certain days....so if you wish to turn up early and leave your car to walk into Pershore then that's fine.....just let me know.
My home is down a quite country road, overlooking Bredon Hill. If you stand down the bottom of the garden you can also see the Malvern Hills.

During the Covid-19 outbreak we are offering this space to those needing to self isolate, or support workers needing to live away from home. I will leave 3 days between each booking as well as extra cleaning. A small one bedroomed brick barn, in a working farmyard, done out nicely inside, and very cosy. It just needs a little TLC outside! It over looks the Cotswold Hills, and is 100 yards away from a footpath that leads you to Saintbury, and up the Cotswold escarpment.
Sadly there is no WiFi as we do not have access to it at property. The outside space has yet to be finished, and tidied up! However, there is space to sit outside and take in the sun on a picnic table just outside the door. You must like dogs as we have 4 roaming the farmyard as our house is 50 yards away. All the dogs are friendly and well behaved. I am also offering a shopping service to those that have to self isolate. As it is a working farm there will be vehicles and people about the yard at different times.
We live at the base of the Cotswold Hills just outside Weston Subedge, 2 miles from Chipping Campden and 7 miles from Stratford upon Avon.

A beautifully thatched and beamed Cotswold cottage that’s immaculately and tastefully furnished and feels homely, loved and cherished. Sleeping 4 in a comfortable king size double and twin bedroom, it’s perfect for a family, two couples or one couple who like a little extra room. Centrally located in the historic village of Bretforton (and a stone's throw from the historic Fleece Inn), it’s an ideal base to explore surrounding Cotswold villages – many of which are within a 10-minute drive.
Located in the heart of Bretforton, just across from the village green, next door to Bretforton Village School’s playing field, within sight of St. Leonard’s Church and a stone’s throw from the National Trust-owned Fleece Inn, Old Fox Cottage will capture your heart even before you go in. The Tiffany-blue front door, with its foxy door knocker, peeping out from under the immaculate thatched roof, sets the tone for your stay here. It is a delightful property. The owners, Adam and Lois, have worked tirelessly to produce a look and feel that is tasteful and luxurious throughout the cottage. With its peaceful blues, calm creams and woodland themes, you’ll feel particularly warm, cosy and cosseted here. The attention to detail is fantastic, with every mod con anticipated and provided. Shut the front door and all the worries of the world melt away. What makes this cottage additionally attractive is the village of Bretforton itself, which is a friendly, welcoming place best demonstrated by its community shop, stocked with essential items and tasty goodies. Similarly, the Fleece Inn is a warm and friendly place with an impressive calendar of events and activities to enjoy while sampling their hearty menu and fine wines and beers. Even if you never venture further than Bretforton, you’ll have a great stay. However, being just 6 miles from Broadway and Chipping Camden, 12 miles from Stratford-on-Avon, 18 miles from Cheltenham, 30 miles from Birmingham and 40 miles from Oxford, the best of the Cotswolds is on your doorstep. One of England’s Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), the Cotswolds is renowned for its lovely, honey-gold stone cottages amidst quiet, well-preserved villages set in rural countryside. FULL DESCRIPTION GROUND FLOOR Entrance Hall Enter through the partially glazed front door straight into the light-filled Entrance Hall, which combines as a snug vestibule (great for sinking into the comfy armchairs while pulling off boots and coats) and practical room with cupboard for coats and wellies and a helpful umbrella stand. With its wooden floor, cream tongue-and-groove panelling and original beams, the Entrance Hall offers a warm welcome. Left into… The Living Room The Tiffany blue and cream theme continues into this lovely room, tastefully furnished with two sumptuous armchairs and a large double sofa. The most striking feature in here is the inglenook fireplace with original beam work. Within the fireplace is a wood-effect electric burner. The Living Room is all ready for a cosy night in, where you can enjoy the large, flat-screen digital TV with Blu Ray DVD player and a wealth of films. Alternatively, there’s a Wii console with games if you’re feeling more energetic. However, an integral slimline Hotpoint dishwasher and integral fridge can be found beside the cooker, whilst behind an ingenious bifold cupboard you’ll find the bread bin, Kenwood microwave and Dualit toaster and kettle. The wall units house everything you’ll need to cater for your group. There’s also an iron under the large ceramic sink and a high chair, picnic basket and vacuum in the under-stair cupboard. Left through to… Utility/Laundry Room A compact space where you’ll find the Hotpoint combined washing machine/dryer, a small library of books, re-chargeable tea light candles and storage cupboards housing cleaning materials and the boiler. Left through to… Family Bathroom As with the rest of the cottage, this room is impeccably and tastefully appointed with limestone floor and travertine wall tiles. Relax and soak away stresses in the large roll top bath that sits under the small private window overlooking the side path. Or enjoy a rainfall shower in the separate elevated double-shower enclosure. The bathroom is thoughtfully stocked with all the shampoo, shower gel and bubble bath you could need – so don’t weigh your luggage down with those heavy items. Return out to… Dining Conservatory Streaming with bright light (even on an overcast day), the heated Dining Conservatory is a great living space: by day it’s an extra living and eating space where you’ll sit to enjoy your breakfasts and lunches and access the patio garden and BBQ outside. By night, it can be transformed into an intimate dinning space with shimmering lighting. Return to…   UPSTAIRS Up the stairs from kitchen turning right into... Master double bedroom The oldest part of the cottage, the master double-bedroom has a cosy yet luxurious feel, tucked under the beams and eaves. From the iron-frame double bedstead you can enjoy private views through the traditional cottage windows. The cushioned window seat is a wonderful place to sit and while away some relaxation time. The bedroom has a lovely full-length cheval mirror, a deep clothes closet, a hairdryer and a digital flat-screen TV for bedtime viewing. Up the stairs from kitchen turning left into... Twin Bedroom A delightful room with two large, single beds, fluffy bed linen with bed throws, original beams and window overlooking a flat roof to the patio beyond. Ideal for children, this room would also suit two adults because of its L-shaped layout, providing individual privacy in a shared space. OUTSIDE The area to the rear of the cottage has been laid to patio and is reached either through the side gate and path or through the back door from the Dining Conservatory. In this clever us of space you’ll find a lovely, ivy-walled sun trap. The main patio area is up two stone steps where there’s a large ‘Outback’ gas BBQ, a rattan-style patio table with four matching chairs to one side and two rattan-style sofas with all-weather coffee table on the other. For a property in the heart of a village, this outside space is marvellously private being surrounded by high walls. (Note: one small window overlooks the area to one side but seems rarely unused.)

Self contained apartment , in a rural setting, views over open countryside, in an area of outstanding natural beauty . Experience life in a 16th century farmhouse, with beams and lots of character. Sleeps two people with its own entrance ( via external stone staircase) and garden space, ample parking. Storage for mountain bikes , canoes . Everything you need for a self catering break away .
Rural setting , ideal for mountain bikers ( lockable storage space for bikes ), ramblers , bird watchers and canoeists . You have beautiful walks direct from your front door , straight up into Bredon hill . Quirky apartment with exposed beams and slanted ceilings , as you would expect in a 16th century farmhouse .
It's peaceful and friendly and beautiful ! The village is full of 'chocolate box' thatched cottages , the river Avon runs through the village too , so you get hill and river walks direct from the granary . An area of outstanding natural beauty and a conservation area , it's true English countryside at its best . There are two barns being converted next door , this does not affect the granary at all ,but better that you know before you arrive ..

Welcome to my home. Bedroom and dressing/sitting room and bathroom. Lovely Cotswold views from your window's intro you to country life. Charming village a foodie pub's and shop with tea room. Walks, views, charm and history await your stay. Its a private working house in the country and I welcome people to simple space, hospitality and jolly good breakfast. All I ask is that you enjoy your time in The Cotswold's and embrace my home as a home
Simple space that is comfortable and relaxed in a private house that is a working house and not a hotel or indeed aB&B. Your space will be respected and I believe I offer value for money ( The Cotswold's is a busy and expensive location for accomodation with 2or3 night min occupancy only at key months ) in a lovey part of The UK. Therefore Airbnb and The Garden House offer great value and flexibility - plus a warm welcome for sure !
Willersey is a delightful Cotswold Village. Small but it has life and soul - pubs and one shop allows easy living. On the door step of all the Key Cotswold villages and attractions. Also Stratford upon Avon and Cheltenham are both 25mins away if the countryside gets too much !
