The room, bathroom, and continental breakfast are simple-but-adequate. Walk 25 minutes north (or take a 5-minute taxi ride) to the fabulous grilled fish restaurants ... walk 25-60 minutes east to hike and picnic on the beautiful mountain ... Welcome!
Well it's a very cozy apartment! It's on the main street of Ankawa, the Christian suburb of Erbil. I love my city and I hope you have a good time here too! This is an apartment on the 3rd floor [2nd if you consider first to be 0], with only the stairs to access it [no elevator sorry, but that means good exercise for you!]
The apartment is in the heart of the Christian suburb of Erbil, named Ankawa. Thus alcohol shops are available nearby. Ankawa is great to just walk around, but only when it's not ridiculously hot outside.
Contrary to popular belief, this part of the middle east is very peaceful with little/no terror threat or even crime. Westerners should feel very comfortably to be out and about without their security on their mind.
Great location near all restaurants and businesses. Noor was super helpful and friendly picking us up from the airport and offering to show us around. Would definitely stay again.
Modern, colorful, and quiet space and living area with easy feasibility to use.
Quite warm in the winter, cool in the summer, with a nice sunrise.
cool lighting suitable for all times, flexible to change depending on the right activity.
Friendly space to enjoy the indoor activities.
Nearby the markets, churches, bars, and all needed.
I live in a kind of lovely corner small flat, on the second floor, with a nice view on the main street.
When you go in, you can find a hall. On the left, there is the kitchen space. Opposite it, there is a dining table on the right.
After that on the left, there is a small corridor taking you to the bedrooms and the bathroom, and you will find the living area on the right of the corridor which is including the TV and six sites with 3 small serving tables.
In the corridor there are 3 doors, the door on the right is my personal bedroom, the door on the left is the bathroom, the door, in the end, is the guest bedroom.
Finally, my neighbors are OK. They are lovely and they also help a lot.
I love my house, but it isn’t mine! I’m renting it!
The neighborhood is nice and quite, show respect you will get respect as well.
Our home is a 4br 2.5btr, in the Atconz (New Azadi) Village District close to Ankawa. The neighborhood is quiet. Easy to get around by taxi. We have a child in the house, and both my wife and I work, and our son goes to daycare. We have a relatively active social life, and can help plug you into the "scene" in Erbil.
The apartment is great and located in a very safe high-rise that's popular with internationals/expats. It's a newly furnished 3 bedroom apartment with amazing views of the city from the balcony. Apartment is clean and spacious. I'm an international NGO worker, happy to advise on Erbil. Great wifi!
I'm living in the apartment. One room is available as I don't want too many people in the apartment as I prefer an easy going and relaxed environment.
Happy to consider short or long term bookings.
Space is clean, tidy and new.
5 minutes drive from Erbil Airport. There is a big international supermarket on the ground floor of the apartment blocks. 2 minute walk to large group of restaurants.
