The property has two double bedrooms, lounge, a family bathroom, a spacious kitchen and a dining room that offers incredible views north over Port Erin beach and the village. Upstairs a viewing lounge provides further elevation to enjoy panoramic views over the bay, Bradda Head and out to sea. The rear of the property has a private secluded sun terrace. Parking is available just outside the property, which also has a private driveway. Port Erin itself is easily accessed, a footpath directly opposite the property drops down to the beach, less than 5 minutes walk away. From here enjoy a choice of outdoor activities from a boat trip to the Calf of Man, dinghy sailing, paddleboarding or join the Raad Ny foillan (way of the gull) coastal footpath. For something more relaxed there are a number of bars, restaurants and cafes in the area. The Steam Railway station is also just 5 minutes walk from the property.   • Dům je velmi pohodlný a teplý a má opravdu vynikající výhled na záliv v Port Erin, ve dne iv noci. Měli jsme štěstí, že jsme měli pěkné a slunečné počasí, a udělali jsme skvělé fotky z krásné verandy. Postele a sprchy jsou vynikající a při příjezdu bylo příjemné najít máslo, chléb, mléko a nějaké pěkné místní produkty. Ještě jednou děkuji za krásný první pobyt na ostrově Man.

    Athol House is close to public transport, Ronaldsway airport, Port St Mary Harbour, High Street shops & Chapel Beach. You’ll love my place because of its ideal location for the south of the Isle of Man or to explore Island-wide. There is plentiful space including a TV lounge and an eat-in kitchen. In the heart of the village the house was originally a butchers shop and two traditional Manx cottages now it is a well appointed, homely place to stay.

  • Velmi příjemný dům, a to díky Ericem a Barbara. Byli jsme kamarádi 6 zůstat přes víkend a mohl zůstat ve velmi komfortní a čisté pokoje. Koupelna byla také velmi moderní a ocení každý. Kromě toho, Eric a Barbara byli velmi vstřícní, ať už je to s pěkným jídlem, nebo radu na ostrově. Pokud si pobyt v Port Erin, měli byste jít tam, nejlepší Airbnb zkušenosti tak daleko. Děkuji !

    Colloway Cottage is a traditional Manx stone cottage that has been sympathetically extended and modernised to provide modern facilities Peacefully tucked away in the hamlet of Glen Chass, the cottage enjoys superb views over open countryside to Snaefell and Carnane and distant sea view to the South. Glen Chass is situated off the road from Port St Mary to the Manx National Heritage Village of Cregneash and is ideally situated for many varied walks and is close to the Round the Island Coastal footpath. The Cottage is accessed up steps from the off road car parking area and has a door leading to the porch. The sitting room has a vaulted, beamed ceiling and a traditional Manx stone fireplace housing an electric stove for your convenience. The room enjoys additional light from roof lights. It is equipped with a large bed settee, drop leaf dining table, chairs, and coffee tables together with a TV and DVD. Distant sea views to the south are enjoyed. The double bedroom is on the left, when entering the sitting room, and provides a double bed, twin bedside cabinets, wardrobe and dressing table, in addition to built in storage cupboards. The kitchen enjoys dual aspect windows and a door leads out to the Sun Terrace where guests can enjoy eating 'al-fresco' on the table and chairs provided. This patio has views over Port St Mary Golf Course, Bay-ny-Carrickey and to Snaefell in the distance. The kitchen is fitted with a gas hob and electric fan oven, together with a fitted fridge. In addition it is equipped with freezer and washer/drier. It is fully equipped with utensils and a barbecue is provided. At the foot of the entrance steps, there is a self-contained cloakroom with WC and wash hand basin, which is also centrally heated. Port St Mary is just under a mile away and the village has a traditional range of shops and is well served with restaurants. Port Erin, which is slightly further, has a wider variety of shops and supermarkets. The Bus service to The Sound passes within 25 metres of the Cottage. The Victorian Steam Railway has stations at both Port Erin and Port St Mary, and regular buses run from both. We have a cosy wood burning stove for those cooler evenings and a small but very well equipped and tastefully decorated kitchen, and a walled courtyard with outdoor dining space.
    Beachcomber's is the perfect place for a family summer holiday - long days at the beach, ice creams, fish and chips and just a short stroll back to all the home comforts of the cottage. On the first floor we have a modern family bathroom with bath and shower. There are two double bedrooms and one bunk room sleeping up to six, and each room is individually and beautifully decorated. We supply quality bedding, linens and towels for all our guests and all the basics you need to get you started. We're dog friendly and there are lots of lovely long walks along the coast and in the nearby glens for you and your four-legged friend to enjoy!
    All of Port Erin's attractions are within easy walking distance of the cottage - pubs, restaurants, shops and of course the beautiful sandy beach, promenade and headland. The Island's coastal path, the Raad Ny Foillan, runs past the end of the lane and you can walk from Port Erin to the Sound, Port St Mary, Peel or further afield. The Steam Railway station is a two minute walk from the cottage and you can take the train North to Castletown or Douglas. If you don't have your own car the public transport network is fantastic and makes it easy to travel all over the island. There's lots to see and lots to do for the whole family - from a gentle walk to something a little more adventurous, and plenty of nostalgia, history, culture and nature to enjoy.

    A very handy place to stay. Bus stops both directions to Douglas or other parts of the Island. A short walk to the famous Horse Trams that take people across Douglas promenade. The electric tram which goes to Ramsey and stops at lovely glens on the way is also a short distance from the house.
    Guests have the use of the lounge which has a coal fire on cold evenings. Bedroom has a queen size comfortable bed. Hairdryer, ironing board and tea and coffee are all available.

    The Carrick Rooms is a small guesthouse in a picturesque town of Port St Mary. The guesthouse is situated along the main road, with a beautiful sea view at the front of the building. There are three main rooms; Carrick room, Chicken rock and Kitterland. The Kitterland is a cosy comforting room with a double bed and en-suite.
    The Kitterland offers a double bed and en-suite with a shower.
    The guesthouse is situated by Port St Mary’s local shops, cafes and restaurants. This includes two cafes, one being The Sugarloaf Café which is owned by Nick. Shops include, newsagent, co-op, fish and chips, Italian, curry house, local pub x2, laundry room and charity shop, all in the walking distance of the guesthouse. The local free car park is only around the corner about 100 yards away. Port St Mary offers a variety of public footpaths around the coast of the island, which shows of the beautiful scenery that island has to offer. Just ask Nick for some guidance and he’ll point you in the right direction.

    Our Single room on the second floor, comes with LCD TV, clock radio alarm, complementary tea/coffee, free WiFi. IT IS PRICED TO OFFER THE MOST ECONOMICAL OPTION FOR THE SINGLE TRAVELLER. The room has its own shower within the room and a private lockable toilet that's located outside the room on the hallway. This is a nice bright room that overlooks the front of the guest house. It is offered on a ROOM ONLY BASE but our Continental breakfast is available daily at a charge of only 4.00 GBP.
    Our building was built in the 1880's as a Guest House to serve the growing tourist trade of the Victorian age. We are in the heart of Douglas the capital town of the Island. The location is ideal for all major attractions including the local night life.
    We are close to: The Villa Marina entertainment complex, have many excellent restaurants/pubs close to hand.

    Alana House is a modern Mews style town house, located in a paved cul-de-sac and lies immediately behind Port St Mary promenade, yet within easy walking distance of all amenities and the beach. The accommodation is light and airy and the lounge has leather sofas with a coffee table and table lamps opening to an arch leading to the very spacious and well equipped Dining Kitchen area. Patio doors lead to the south facing garden/patio, which is totally enclosed with walls and fencing. Garden furniture and a barbecue are provided Port St. Mary may rightly be called one of the gems in the crown of the Isle of Man. It is a small working port situated in the South of the Island, with both Inner and Outer harbours and piers offering a safe anchorage. It is home to the Isle of Man Yacht Club, and the training section can often be seen in action providing a very colourful display. It is well served by public transport and has its own Station on the Victorian Steam Railway line between Douglas and Port Erin. The station is only some 250 metres from Alana House. There is a safe sandy beach, which again is only some 100 metres from Alana House, and the Promenade leads to the scenic marine walkway from Chapel Beach to the Harbour areas. This forms part of the Round the Island coastal footpath. For the sports minded there is golf, tennis, bowls and a variety of water sports, in addition to boat trips for fishing and visiting the Calf of Man. Just a couple of minutes walk away from the sandy beach of Gansey bay, the property is located close to the seaside towns of Port Erin and Port St Mary. Inside the whole house has recently been refurbished to modern standards with underfloor heating throughout. Three bedrooms all offer lovely sea and rural views, with the double being an ensuite. The property also benefits from a family bathroom on the first floor which features a bath and shower. Downstairs a large living room provides plenty of room and seating for everyone and there is also a separate dining room with kitchen adjoining. The property benefits from private parking on the driveway, and there is also a small shed which could be used for storage of bikes or outdoor equipment. From the doorstep it is just a short walk to The Shore Hotel, a pub offering great home cooked food and real ales.     Curlew cottage is a charming 18th century one (double) bedroom traditional Manx stone cottage which retains some original features a stone fireplace and open beam ceilings in lounge and bedroom, yet updated to provide cosy, comfortable, relaxing self catering accommodation ideally suitable for a couple or solo traveller. Perfect for the business or leisure visitor. The cottage is situated in a quiet cobbled street part of a conservation area in the heart of historical Castletown, with the magnificent medieval Castle Rushen once home to the Kings and Lords of Mann as well as the three other Manx National Heritage sites The Old House of keys, The Nautical Museum and The Old Grammar School all within 5 minute walk from the cottage to the town centre. Curlew cottage provides easy access to all local amenities within the town centre which offers a wide variety of shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs (including the famous Glue Pot Inn) as well as an indoor swimming pool, tennis courts and bowling green, and Golf links. Curlew cottage provides an excellent base to explore the beautiful Isle of Man. Just outside Castletown are the lovely beaches of Derbyhaven, Scarlett and Langness. The surrounding countryside is ideal for walkers and bird watchers with many picturesque footpaths, glens and plantations. For motorcyclists and racing fans the cottage is only a 5 minute walk from the Billown road race circuit which hosts the famous Southern 100 road race held the 2nd week of July, and also the pre and post TT /Classic road races at the end of May each year and also pre/post Manx Grand Prix in August . Curlew cottage is very easily accessed from Ronaldsway Airport approx 5 minute drive and Douglas Ferry Terminal approx 20 minute drive. Taxis are available outside the airport terminal and Douglas sea terminal. With access to public transport only a 5 minute walk away the cottage is ideal for those travelling without a car to explore the Island. Minimum Stay 3 nights (except TT, MGP and Southern 100 which are 7 days) midweek and weekend breaks available. Flexible changeover day.     Excellent location in the heart of Port Erin (South) near the beach, cafes, buses, steam train, airport etc, and a good place to explore rest of the island. Guests made to feel home from home, and there is the luxury of a hot tub! Tea/coffee making facilities/dressing gowns, Smart TV/DVD/bottled water etc in all rooms. Continental/full English breakfast provided - extra at £9 pp. However, I leave out cereals, bread etc if guests want to help themselves. Free Wi Fi. Parking just outside.
    Ballamaddrell Accommodation is place where guests can stay and feel at home to come and go as they please. Very close to the beach and public transport just outside. Near to shops, pubs, cafes, bank, petrol station etc - approximately 7 minutes walk. Guests welcome to use large lounge with flat screen TV and there is a decking area to sit outside, together with a hot tub to relax. Smokers can smoke in the garden area. Use of all kitchen facilities available and there is a small separate guest fridge for guests only.

    Chapel Bay Lodge is a ground floor apartment with a private patio garden overlooking the picturesque village of Port St Mary and the beautiful Chapel Bay with its sandy beach. There are ever changing views over the harbour dotted with trawlers and sailing boats, and the open sea beyond. There is direct access to the beach via a variety of walkways and paths, as well as vehicular access to the lower promenade. There is a catwalk footpath above the sea, following the edge of the cliff to take you round to the inner harbour and lower part of Port St Mary village. Inside Chapel Bay Lodge, you will find a bright and welcoming fully renovated apartment ideally suited to a couple, with excellent quality furnishings and decoration to reflect the seaside setting. A small porch leads to a raised area with a bay window and a step down into the lounge and dining area. There is comfortable seating on a large sofa and a dining table to seat four. Occasional chairs offer the flexibility to sit from different vantage points in the apartment and take advantage of the stunning views. There is a TV and DVD player with a range of DVDs available for viewing. The kitchen is fully stocked with brand new appliances, including electric oven and hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, all crockery and cutlery as well as all the necessary pans and cooking utensils. There is a super-king size bed in the bedroom, which can be separated into two singles if necessary (please request when booking). A cot is also available for babies, please discuss your requirements when booking. There is a rear emergency access through a glazed door from the bedroom leading to stonewashed steps and a rear patio area. Please note this is shared with other residents in the building. The separate bathroom features a brand new bath and shower. There is gas central heating throughout the apartment and an electric log burner style fire in the lounge. Parking is on the road in front of the apartment and there are no restrictions in place. A range of amenities is situated within easy walking distance including a variety of restaurants and cafes, a Co-op selling all essential groceries and three pubs. There is also a pharmacy, a hairdresser, and a newsagents with a post office counter inside. There is a larger supermarket called Shoprite in Port Erin, and in Douglas there is a large branch of Tesco near the railway station. Chapel Bay Lodge is easily accessed by public transport with regular buses servicing all parts of the Island. The closest bus stop is at the end of the road, on Station Road, not even 5 minutes walk from the apartment. The Isle of Man Steam Railway offers a charming and alternative method of transport and is an excellent means of viewing the Island’s beautiful scenery. Trains regularly depart from Port Erin Railway Station taking you to Castletown and Douglas, the capital of the Island. There is of course a stop at Port St Mary, which you can walk to from Chapel Bay Lodge in about 10 minutes, it’s about a quarter of a mile or half a kilometre. The Island is full of all sorts of attractions to interest everyone, and there is an information folder in Chapel Bay Lodge with details of as many as we could include! There is a veritable wealth of historical and cultural attractions such as the traditional Manx village of Cregneash, the impressive Castle Rushen in Castletown, Peel Castle, the Laxey wheel to name but a very few, all giving an insight to the Island’s unique Manx heritage. The Isle of Man boasts an impressive number of museums, varying from the nautical to aviation, to transport and motor museums, with the Manx Museum being the largest in Douglas. For sports enthusiasts there are of course the world famous motorcycling races: the TT (Tourist Trophy), the Classic TT (Manx Grand Prix) and the Southern 100, and then there is mountain biking, cycling, angling, adventure sports, go-karting, sailing, diving, paragliding… the list goes on and on. There are railways aplenty, including the Manx Electric Railway, the Great Laxey Mine railway, the Groudle Glen Railway, amongst others. The Isle of Man is a treasure trove for nature lovers who will find wildlife, flora and fauna in abundance, there are gardens to visit, nature reserves, marine nature reserves, seal spotting from the Sound, boat excursions to the uninhabited Calf of Man, and much more. It is also walkers paradise with an enormous amount of well marked footpaths and trails, including the challenging Millennium Way, from north to south of the Island, through the middle and for the experienced walker the Raad Ny Foillan, which follows the coast all around the Island. There are guided walks, glens and hills and much more to explore. Being an island, there are of course beaches aplenty from isolated, rugged and windswept, to stony coves and wide sandy bays, each with it’s own character and charm. The Isle of Man is a tantalising place to visit, and Chapel Bay Lodge offers the perfect accommodation from which to enjoy the sights and attractions of the Isle of Man, whatever your interests, whether you’re a thrill-seeking adventurer or looking for a tranquil and relaxing break.
    The neighbourhood is residential with many of the apartments occupied by local people full time. The apartment above Chapel Bay Lodge is occasionally occupied by holiday makers too. It is a quiet and friendly area and people often stop to say hello and pass the time of day!
