Buda Castle (half day): a World Heritage Site, for me - the most picturesque part of Budapest, both from the Pest side and once you visit the district. Narrow, cobblestone streets, old houses, the amazing Matthias church, museums and gorgeous view of the city. One of the oldest pastry shops, Ruszwurm can also be found there.

Walking distance from our place....due to the ongoing reconstruction project, the visit to the City Park is limited right now, still recommended to wander around the lake and the Vajdahunyad vára on the shore of it.
