Hereford is proud of its beautiful cathedral which is steeped in history. There is a surprising amount to see inside (even if you're not religious!) with some beautiful contemporary stained glass along with much more traditional windows. There is also the Mappa Mundi, the chained library and the Mundi Cafe. They also do cathedral, garden and tower tours but you'd need to check their website to check days and times.

Only 10 mins drive from The Nook. The castle itself is stunning and tours are available, but the grounds are also magnificent. There is a traditional walled garden, an amazing maze, a water garden with waterfall you can walk behind and a cafe in the orangery overlooking the lawns that lead down to the river. There is a lot to look out both in the main house and surrounding buildings. The grounds are vast with lovely walks around the lake. There is a nice cafe for the obligatory coffee and cake!

A fantastic arts and culture venue for films, theatre, music, comedy, exhibitions, dance, workshops. There is also a great cafe bar. A bright, light, modern venue with caters to all tastes and has polite and friendly staff.
