Water access advice
Norris Lake is beautiful with clear blue-green water, one of the cleanest lakes in the area, very deep with depths approaching 180 feet. However, it is a TVA controlled lake & lake levels are dropped every fall/winter to allow for snow melt. Levels begin to drop around Labor Day & drop until January to around 20' below full pool. Lake levels are restored to full pool by early spring. Although our property is lakefront with easy dock access in summer, we must move the dock out as water levels drop so the dock gets a bit further away but still offers year-round water access.
