1. Our beach is divided into 3 surf clubs separated by about 500 meters. We are at the north end Queenscliff, Middle is North Steyne, South end Manly. All can be seen from the balcony
2. Freshwater beach (to the north) is less busy, no tourists, and tucked away. There are also nice shops and restaurants there. Access via stairs near Splat Café. Great if the wind is from the North East NE.

a. Walk to Shelly Beach / Fairy Bower then up the headland and come out at North Head.
b. Spit to Manly via Tanya Park and plenty of secluded beaches including Contaft, 40 Baskets, North Habour Reserve, Wash away. (google these names for more info)
c. ALSO: Qcliff to> Curl Curl Via Freshwater headland (walk to Freshwater beach then past the pool and onto the rocks – then stay on the track). + Dee Why –> Curl Curl beach headland. (Bus 136 to Dee Why). + Long Reef headland, + Manly Dam, + North Head. Farther up the northern beaches is: + Narrabeen lakes circute. Avalon > Whale >+ Palm beach lighthouse

b. Freshwater (protected in Northerly winds)
c. Little Manly beach harbour side beach. Colins beach & Quarantine station are almost a private secluded beaches– must see) google them!
d. Harbour side beaches include: Fairlight pool - 40 baskets, Clontaf, and Reef beaches. Fully protected. Google maps secluded Sydney harbour beaches and you might even find your own private one.
e. Manly dam (fully protected- fresh water) + great walks
15. Kayaking from Ocean world on the harbor side and spit bridge.
16. Ocean and water park – south end of harbor beach south of the ferry wharf
17. Roller blading, bike riding can be hired along the beach front.
18. Tennis – 1) Kierle Park at the end of the lagoon / bike track – AND 2) in Manly.

4. Shopping Manly. Many shops and restaurants to choose from (including 2 supermarkets Coles) . Bus 139, 136 from Queenscliff Surfclub to the Ferry wharf. (6 mins)
5. Shopping: Warringah Mall: large shopping centre - department stores, supermarkets: (Coles & Woolworths). If you have a car the best for parking is Coles and Woolies at Manly Vale, also Harris Farm is very close.
