Salmon is only 23 miles from your Gypsy Wagon door and is a scenic mountain-town located on the outskirts of Idaho’s Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness, with rustic origins in mining, lumbering and family ranching. Over the years, it has evolved into a vibrant collection of art galleries, restaurants, and a community of adventurists that can only exist in a place that offers this much outdoor recreation.
A visit to Gold Bug Hot Springs should rate high on your list as people come from all over the world to visit this natural hot springs, just a moderate hike and only two miles from your Gypsy Wagon or Luxury Glamping tent. A visit to the Sacajawea Interpretive, Cultural & Educational Center is often enjoyed by guests. People are always fascinated by the epic Lewis & Clark Expedition and the role of the legendary Sacajawea. Did you know you can enjoy fishing right out the door of your gypsy wagon or glamping tent? We also have a boat ramp for those of you who want to travel down the river from us, or go up river and jump out at our Salmon Gypsy B&B. We offer to either pick you up down river, or take you back to your car up river, whichever works for you!
