Because every meal here is incredibly delish! Plus, the front of the café is stocked with cute bodega-type last-minute grocery items, like bread, eggs, juice and snacks. It's about a 15-minute walk from the house, so further afield but the reasonable pricing and quality are worth it. The same awesome lady owns Eulalie's, another laid-back gem nearby on Ashdale. Tip: The canelés (only available on Sundays are my favourite pastry in the city.

The Bree loaf is the best. They also have Petite Thuet baguettes at the cash and make good deli-style sandwiches to go.
