This is a large park, approximately 75 hectares, and a good amount of parking. In the summer, Shakespeare by the Sea is held in the park, which is a live outdoor theater production.

It is now a museum ship docked at the Halifax Waterfront, however it is currently in refit and is currently expected to re-open to the public in June 2019.
