If you are here in the winter, you have to rent cross country skis from Beaver Sports and ski at Birch Hill! There are numerous trails of varying difficulty that will appeal to any skill level. It is also a beautiful place to go on a walk in the summer and fall or even play a round or three of Frisbee Golf on the course set up there!

What is a trip to Fairbanks without a stop at the most famous hot springs in the state?! Only an hour drive from our house and a very high possibility of seeing a Moose, you have to go to Chena Hot Springs.
