The Hack-Ma-Tack Inn is a fine dining restaurant located on the Cheboygan River right at the mouth of beautiful Mullett Lake. It is nestled between towering trees and greenery, with picturesque windows overlooking the river. Named after the Native American word for Tamarack…”Hack-Ma-Tack”, is mostly built with strong tamarack logs. Built in 1894 as a hunting and fishing lodge, the Hack-Ma-Tack has a rich and interesting history. The atmosphere of the restaurant has a rustic elegance with a uniqueness that one has to experience for themselves. Specialties include slow roasted prime-rib, fresh whitefish, South African lobster, and an extensive wine list.

Built first as Evergreens in the 1940’s, Breakers became the local favorite for craft beer and burgers in 2005. Our 2012 remodel allows guests to view pristine Mullett Lake via patio dining. For the summer of 2018, we’ve added a complete pizza menu and prime rib on Saturdays!
