Drinks & Nightlife
Shangri-la Resort has two restaurants, Doc's and Eddy's. They have good food (we know the chef...and he was pulled in from New York), classy environment. If you have a boat, you can get to these restaurants from the Harrison House in about 10 minutes, otherwise it's a scenic 30 minute drive to Monkey Island. See their restaurant hours before going. (Doc's also serves at their beautiful resort pool you may want to enjoy while you drink and dine.)

Har-Ber Village is a historical, outdoor museum. See how they lived a hundred years ago. They also have free access nature trails (some paved, some gravel) that have recently been renovated. It's wooded with great grounds-keeping. A trip never to be forgotten. We have a membership, because all of our children ranging in ages of 4-12 (and us) like to go.

Nature Center (Amanda is the friendliest park ranger)...super family friendly and hands-on. A nature trail. And great lake scenes!

Everything Else
Downtown has a variety of restaurants, shops and galleries to peruse. City Hall is also located downtown and is a great resource for directing you to activities or places you want to see.
Farmer's Market runs Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8am-noon. Great, local vendors.

Call first to visit their farm. She'll give you a tour and introduce her to her 48 alpacas and 1 llama. The tour is free (from my experience). There is a gift shop to buy memorabilia. You'll fall in love with the alpacas. My favorite is Cornucopia, who has a prosthetic leg made by Grand Lake Prosthetic. Great story! Fun animals.
