Built in 1946 to look like the old west, complete with a general store, bank, jail, and saloon, Pioneertown was originally a movie set for many popular Hollywood westerns. Take a walk through town, check out the shops, and even watch a cowboy stunt show and shootout at 2pm every 2nd and 4th Saturday from September through May. Then grab some lunch at Pappy & Harriet's.

Don't forget to bring warm clothes. The temperature can much cooler. In the winter, there may even be snow!
