Restaurants near the apartment
In general you will find cheap and good quality food in Athens.
Avoid the very touristy places for obvious reasons.
Especially in Plaka where there are expensive restaurants without specific reason, especially those which have adverts with photos in front of the shops.
Don’t forget to taste souvlaki, a traditional food, very cheap and delicious!

Walks - Neighborhoods in Athens

Monastiraki's flea market is a touristy but very interesting area, where you can find souvenirs and second hand items, furniture etc. I believe you shouldn't miss a walk to this area.
