Fim do Mundo is a great restaurant in Ferragudo but you have to have a reservation so book early. It is hidden away in the backstreets but serves great food and is always full.

This is the little coffee shop perched on a cliff above Praia dos Tres Irmaos in Alvor. The view is delightful. The coffee is a little expensive (2.50 euros for a white coffee) but the view is worth it

This is a local restaurant that is not well known among tourists but is popular with local people. They serve a wide range of Portuguese food, offering a complete meal for about 8.50 euros including a drink and coffee. There is a set menu but within that there are about six choices of main courses and desserts. Excellent value for money

Parks & Nature
It has a beautiful series of beaches with several caves and arches. The scenery is quite spectacular. It is located at the end of the Alvor beach on the Portimao side. It can be accessed by going to Prainha and walking down to the Canico restaurant or you can go to Alvor and walk along the beach until you reach it. It is somewhat hidden away but a great discovery. In the cliffs above the beach is a cozy restaurant which is great for a coffee or lunch. This restaurant has a public lift which allows access down to the beach. (There are also stairs down to the beach)
