At 46 miles in length, the Withlacoochee State Trail is one of the longest paved trails in Florida. It has a generally flat terrain and is great for all levels of cycling, running, walking and skating. It runs through small towns, ranches, and 6 distinct natural communities between Citrus Springs and Dade City. It offers rich opportunities for viewing plants and wildlife and provides access to many other outstanding recreational activities.

While its a little off the beaten path, this is the world's only drive-through alligator park. It is actually an alligator sanctuary and is home to over 400 gators! They also have a petting zoo for younger guests.

Fort Cooper State Park is a 710-acre historic site with plenty of open green space, a lake, and wildlife. On June 13, 1972, it was added to the United States National Register of Historic Places. It is also a Florida State Park.

Great food, great prices, and great hometown atmosphere! The steaks are excellent, gator bites are a must-try. Don't forget to leave room for dessert - Carrot Cake lovers beware - you might never leave!!

Great menu and great food at moderate prices. I was pleasantly surprised on my first visit because I was with a group and we didn't want a chain restaurant. This place delivered much more than expected, steak, seafood, and amazing desserts! Nice bar area too for a pre-dinner cocktail.
