Food scene
La Herradura is a fun place to hang out at one of the many chiringuitas (beach restaurants), my favourites are Bambu and Bueno. They all have sunbeds for about 6 euros. You can mix it up with a visit to the daily market too to get some supplies for dinner back at the house. Or if you're feeling a bit more adventurous, why not try windsurfing, kayaking or one of the new waterbikes?

It's a beautiful long beach, never too crowded, with two great chiriinguitas (beach bar/restaurants) - my favourite is Las Piedras with its beautiful vine-coverered stone terrace (to get a little shade!) and some great food - I love the clams! All very resonably priced and with sunbeds right there for 5 euros.

Pláž Playa del Cañuelo
It's a beautiful long beach, never too crowded, with two great chiriinguitas (beach bar/restaurants) - my favourite is Las Piedras with its beautiful vine-coverered stone terrace (to get a little shade!) and some great food - I love the clams! All very resonably priced and with sunbeds right there for 5 euros.
