Hip, fun, local coffee house. The owners roast the coffee in back of the cafe for many local restaurants. You may smell the aroma of coffee roasting in the late if the wind is blowing the right way. Small menu but everything is made fresh and delicious. Classic pastry collection.

Beer brewing on premises, 15+ fresh varieties on tap. Great pub food. If it's crowded, wait in the front and order bacon/parmesean popcorn or giant hot Bavarian pretzels.

The Sunday Farmer’s market is a must.
Logan Square has one of the best farmer’s markets in Chicago. In summer it’s nearly a block long at the corner of Milwaukee and Logan. In the winter, it goes inside and is literally across the street from our guest house. Here’s the link http://logansquarefarmersmarket.org
Místní doprava
Elevated trains are the fastest way to get around.
Trains and busses all use the same Ventra Chicago pass or card. You can buy one at a train station and put denominations of money on the card. And you can use it at any train or bus. There are agents and security guards at every train station and a specific police force for the Chicago Transit Authority. Overall trains and buses are safe in Chicago. My experience is only on the north side of Chicago.
