Downtown is amazing, the food is some of the best, the sights are second to none in the world and the people in the Charleston are some of the friendliest around. The history of CHS is some of oldest and most diverse in America and you'll find centuries of the collaberative culture shining through. The diversity and acceptance of "The Holy City" an amazing vitality is makes Charleston the truly special place. If relaxing "Lowcountry Style"is more your speed your in the right spot. My goto (and personnel favorite) is taking in the natural beauty of the ancient Angel Oak's draped with Spanish moss overlooking the bright green marshes and estuaries bordering the many winging river's running throughout Charleston and the surrounding areas
Voted number one city in the world umpteen times running. Come see for yourself.

Good food with the world famous "Windjammer" featuring volley ball and one of the oldest local beach bars located on the island. Hang at the windjammer for events, food and drink beachfront or lay out back and enjoy the convenience of the location and restrooms if you need to cool off. Great beach!

"The edge of America" is about 20-30 minutes away but has a cool laid back vibe with new eateries and cool small beach town feel. Its a bit of a hike by Charleston standards but definitely a doable-day trip.

Mostly private but worth a drive through the county with the top down on a nice day. Farmers village outside the gates and some public access. If you're interested in getting through the gates let me know and I can help further. The world famous Sanctuary hotel and Ocean golf course is amazing as well!$$$$ Smart Casual to formal in the evening.
