Food Scene
Kedungu is located in a rural area so it's relaxed and quiet with restaurants spread wider. While they usually require a walk or short scooter ride, we are talking within 10 minutes. We are lucky to have some real hidden gems in our area. Our favorites are Joshua District - their chef simply is talented and and Passo, part of one of the best locally run restaurant groups in Bali which offer fresh western & local fare at great value for money. The newest addition to Kedungu is 5-star hotel Nirjhara which has gourmet style restaurant - so you are all set for date night in the comfort of our village. If you feel like venturing out, it's so easy to reach Canggu as the drive is around 20 min. Hire a car with driver who will drop you off nice and cool for 10USD so you can have a drink and not worry about driving.
Lenon's has great coffee, drinks and snacks and an interesting spot as it's located just off a street corner. Next to the comings any goings of surfers, locals shopping at the market and beautiful rice paddies to the other side. The manager Putu takes pride in his coffee creations and is always up for a chat if you feel like it.

They always have a special menu to mix things up with fresh veggie soups, meaty dishes, special desserts and their drink list has pleasantly inventive options like a Fruit Salad Soda, naturally sweetened the soda water, perfect for a hot Bali day.
The space is funky looking too, boast lovely rice Yeld views and has a halfpipe outside. Top Tip!

Jalan Kebo IwaBest food in Kediri area! They humbly call themselves coffee shop but their full menu is hearty yet creative and every dish that comes out of the kitchen has a little touch of art.
You'll find wraps, burgers and salads but also artistic looking dishes like Tuna Tataki or Grilled Bellpeppers with Goat
Cheese, scrumptious and great looking too.

Jalan Pantai KedunguThe closest restaurant is only two minutes walk up the drive way, it has a pool table, sports TV, swingset and slide for kids. It has rooftop tables too with a nice sea and rice terrace view. The Fat Hog restaurant is famous for it's pork ribs and friendly service!
Conveniently located right at By Pass Tanah Lot. When you step into this 'warung' all you see are rice paddies, a classic wooden gazebo with great natural styling and a new garden area with a pool.
The menu is a mix of local and western dishes, all yummy and many healthy choices like Tuna Poke Bowl, Salad Rolls, Smoothies as well as pizza, curries and burgers. Our favourites are the Tuna Steak, Fresh Fish Tacos and Green Quinoa Salad with Feta.
The kids love their pizza and you cannot go wrong with the local dishes either. Worthwhile to mention is also the coffee -it's excellent!
An evergreen for us and convenient 10 min drive from the villa.

Warung el Passo
Jalan By Pass Tanah LotConveniently located right at By Pass Tanah Lot. When you step into this 'warung' all you see are rice paddies, a classic wooden gazebo with great natural styling and a new garden area with a pool.
